Aqua Tequilas Restaurant and Bar

I wish I could rate the food/drinks but I didn't even get a chance to order when my partner & I sat down at the bar because all the bartenders (including the host that told us to take any seat in the bar we'd like) completely ignored us after we sat ourselves at the bar despite giving service to the other clients sitting at the bar alongside us & despite trying to get their attention. I was excited to try this place out, hopefully the experience will be more pleasant next time, maybe it was just an off day for some of the workers?

Our food was very good. The guacamole was freshly made. The asada came with homemade tortillas. Too bad the city of Yakima has failed these businesses by letting the homeless population grow so much in this area.

We had wonderful cocktails, our food was delicious and the staff were incredible. Selena was amazing! Highly recommend trying out Aqua Tequilas if you are in Yakima, WA.

Went to this spot we hadn't tried before and we weren't disappointed all!..
When you walk in its nice and clean. Smells fresh, and the ambience is nice. We were greatest quickly and we're seated fast. Menus were kinda great and we quickly learned that their menu was packed with great options(wish they had cat fish though). Once we looked over menu, we order our appetizers which was guacamole and chips, you know just to try things out. After all, if you can't guac & chips right, what can you?. .lol. once we dipped into the dip, we realized we were in for a great meal. The flavors, the smell, the taste of rich savory smooth guacamole danced on our tongues in sheer delight, and we just smiled, all of us.
Next, we recieved our tortillas with butter and man, were they great tasting!. . FRESH, FRESH, FRESH was the flavor, and we ate them all.
Next was the carne asada plate and it was so good, and the most tender carne aside I ever ate. It was seasoned to perfection and so moist, and it melted in your mouth and had no after taste and wasn't greasy at all.
Then we got our next plate which was fish sauted with a Cause that was so delicious. The fish was so good, and the sauce was super good. We also got served the fajitas and the chicken, beef, amd shrimp we done perfectly. Fresh herbs were key to this dish being A+.
Next we got the shrimp ? and it was so moist and tender as was the asada ? as well. They both were fresh and moist, and had a great taste.
Las but not least we got the Asada plate with salad and it did not disappoint either. the rice and beans we killer good to. Then I got my plate which was the Chile Verde, and man was it GOOOOOOOOOOD!. .It was so good and the salsa was so fresh, with the farm fresh taste of tomatillos, coupled with the moisture, tender pork cubes!. . Wheeew, it was the perfect meal. I really liked the service and how clean it was.
It was a choice we were glad we made to choose to eat here today. If you're looking for real, authentic Mexican food, then try Aquas Tequilas Restraunt today.

What I can share about Aqua Tequilas, is that the food is flavorful and so are the beverages. Also, my heart was so joyful that most of the young people participate in karaoke, even those who are seated at the tables!

Fantasic food and drinks! Taco Tuesdays $1.50 for each which was more than reasonable and a fantastic waitress that not only gave us great options to eat but when me and my buddy were picking out tequila shots gave us plenty of background behind each one. She was attentive and very sweet, exactly what any establishment should strive for. Food took me back to my days in Cabo with authentic tacos, tons of salsa varieties. Just went tonight and will be back here in a day or so just for the same experience. I currently live 3 hours away and visit Yakima just for Aqua Tequilas anyone else in the area should do the same what a gem hidden in the mountains.

Such a cute family owned restaurant! We stopped in Yakima on a road trip and chose Aqua Tequilas on a whim. Ended up having some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Highly recommend :)

Amazing staff, great food! We joined when it was Karaoke night. Though loud, it was amazing! Honestly if you are ever in the neighbourhood, certainly worth a detour to have a bit here and sing a few songs ❤️
