After getting seated it took about 10 min to have someone come take our order so a little long and at the register the lady was talking to costumer after they paid about just random stuff and we waited for a good while so we could pay. Finally the older gentleman (I think he is the owner) got up of the stool when he saw we were still waiting to pay and helped us. I’m all about friendly service but not at the cost of others time. Overall great place and we will be back.”

“We / my husband and I were there from Rocklin, California at a reunion.. we got there very late. Most of the food was gone. It looked delicious.. however, we didn’t get to enjoy it!! That of course our fault! … but I happen to be very hungry… two of your waiters (gentlemen) asked me if there was something they could get for me! Of course I said, yes!! I asked for Iced Tea .. brought to me immediately and then the second gentleman asked if he could get something for me .. he brought me a small loaf of that delicious bread nicely warm and butter!! It was delicious!! I would like to commend those two gentlemen!! Your restaurant is phenomenal as well as elegant!!! Thank you!! If ever I am in your city I will stop by and maybe the next visit I can enjoy that delicious food you offer!! Beautiful place!!”

“A little bummed today, we are 100% Taj supporters and have gone here since the initial owner Jessie and her husband opened it. This was the first time we’ve been back after they closed their buffet for awhile. No rice pudding, which was always a staple with the mango and empty hot food bins, sauce but no meat. They’ve also moved the buffet right in the way to walk into the restaurant, so when there is a line, you can’t get around for the restroom or you have to wait for people to move when you are being seated. I dunno, not a top 10 day there today in my book, however, we’ll still go. I appreciate that they finally reupholstered their booths.”

“For six months, I couldn’t eat pizza because of an illness. I’d just sit there watching my family enjoy it while I stared from the sidelines, realizing how much I took those simple moments for granted. Every bite I used to eat without thinking suddenly felt like a luxury I couldn’t have. Today, we finally made our way to Flame & Brew, and I was able to eat their Sweet Heat pizza again. my absolute favorite before I got sick. The crust was perfectly crisp with that wood-fired char, soft and chewy in the middle. The pepperoni was juicy with just the right amount of spice, the cheese melted perfectly and full of flavor, stretching with every bite. Add the jalapeños for heat, the pineapple for sweetness, and that drizzle of sweet hot honey that ties it all together sweet, spicy, savory perfection. Normally, I take pictures of my food 😆 but not today. This was a long-waited reunion, and I went straight to enjoying it and completely forgot to take pics. So just imagine a beautiful pizza photo right here. It felt heavenly to enjoy a favorite food again. Shout out to Flame & Brew for making the best wood-fired pizza. I’ve missed it. Feels so good to be back 😌🍕”

“Miss Peggy makes every experience at Popeyes superb. She has so many great suggestions and offers me the best deal for what I want! And Im always able to feed my whole crew for a great price too! She even had a very upset customer that she took care of as best she could while waiting for a manager to take care of them the other day when I was there. She really should be one of your management team because she definitely knows what she's doing and she works her butt off with almost no help.”

My suggestion lower drink prices 2-3 dollars or serve it in a fishbowl and have a rotating drink special that make people want to show up in droves. I think that's enough criticism for now let me get to the juicy goods.

I have to share what they nailed and just got it right! The rice and beans had the right amount of seasoning, almost up to abuelas standards, probably better than your mom but still not as good as your suegra. The crisp on the asada was 🔥 and didn't need salt, it was like a machaca crisp with asada flavor. I would like to see at least one more traditional carne option like cabeza or carnitas supreme 🤤 and I feel like maybe I need to scope out the camarones next time, I'll let y'all know but overall la experiencia fue buena please check it out and enjoy”
