You got to realize we as americans are spoiled.
I've been going in there for years. They always ask me how I'm doing.How's the food and do it with a smile and very friendly. I've read a lot of post on people getting upset on the way they are treated. But yet when i'm sitting there and listening to the way they're talking to the staff , it's very upsetting. Wanting every extra for free. They're doing their best and all you wanna do is make it difficult. And complain about every little thing. As if you're in a michelin star restaurant. Acting like you've ever owned a restaurant or ran a restaurant which I guarantee.None of you probably haven't..
Their job is to cook food.Turn the tables as quickly as possible.Make a profit. We all have a lot to learn. Especially when we live in america were there's so many different cultures, religions.
Have you ever stopped to think to look up where they're from. How life is were they grew up. Have you ever stopped to think and ask? How is your family how is business.
Or is it all just about you..
The good thing is , all these people who say they won't go back is better for business. It really tells me who the snobs are. I've learned over many years.You always have to give them a second and a third chance. Because you don't know what kind of days they're having, if there was a death in the family.\nOr if they're struggling to pay bills. I got one of to go menus. I use a highlighter to mark off everything i've tried. One thing I learned about restaurants is you'll find something you like at everyone.You can't expect the same flavor of the same dish you order from different restaurants.
