I had some work to do and I decided to find a place to grab a quick energy drink and sit down to study for a few hours.

I heard about this cute coffee shop on campus from a friend and today I finally decided to give it a try!

I didn't have to stand in line very long and the service was quick and efficient. The barista that helped me was very sweet and friendly.

I ordered an 24oz orange pomegranate lotus. It was perfect and I liked that they used mini ice cubes from a professional ice maker.....it tastes better and leaves room for more beverage in my opinion.

The atmosphere was energetic with having a lot of students coming in and out to study. However, the combination of the smell of coffee shots and the quiet music playing in the background made the vibe feel cozy.

I would recommend going to Sopho's Mojo if you want a quality beverage, quick filling snack, and a good place to study.

My only suggestion would be to bring your headphones to cut down on the noise and help make studying a little easier.

“I attended a 75th birthday celebration at the 19th Hole Cafe! The food was amazing! The staff was so accommodating and amazing! A perfect venue!“

“I was completely shocked a couple weeks ago when my husband and I went to breakfast at waffle Café on 72nd. We stopped going for a long time because the atmosphere was horrible. It was dirty. The food changed, it was bland, greasy and had gone downhill. This time it was absolutely amazing, the restaurant was much cleaner, the food was much better and the atmosphere was a lot more welcoming. A few days ago I went to get a gift card for a family member who use to eat there but stopped because of the lack of sanitary and food. While getting the gift card I asked the gal if there was a new owner, she said no, and I told her that we were , very surprised how welcoming and clean and how much better the food has been. I asked if they had a management change and she said yes that she was the new manager. I told her thank you for the job that she’s done making the café more welcoming again. Its nice to see that somebody cares about the cleanliness and the food in their establishment. We will be going back.“

“I stop in today because my load didn’t pick up until the next day. To my surprise it was 7 miles away from my pick up. I didn’t see parking until I had my co driver go inside and ask if we can park. The owner said yes and even came out to help back us in. After parking went inside and found out they have a cafe that sells cooked food at a very good price. While waiting for my food sat down and had a long conversation with the owner. The conversation was about what do drivers need out here. With me been driving for 34 years I gave him ideas of things I look for in a truckstop. So he and is wife are very beautiful people and caring of our needs. So I advise drivers if your in the area of Yakima stop in and give some thoughts of the what is needed out here. This will be my only spot I stop at when im in the city of Yakima. My hat goes off Harman to you and the wife.“

“During my stay at the Holiday Inn, I decided to get dinner at the 8th Street bistro. The server was very friendly and kind enough to put the Giants baseball game on the booth TV for me. I ordered the build your own hamburger and seasoned fries, and it was excellent! An amazing burger and fresh, crisp crinkle cut fries.“

Walked in on a Saturday morning at 0730 to an empty station. Gave the lady behind the counter my order and she said due to numerous phone in orders, the wait would be about 25-30 minutes. Luckily, there were two bacon breakfast burritos in the warming box that she said were made within the hour and were available for purchase. Since I didn't want to wait that long, I purchased the two. My wife and I thought the breakfast burritos were fantastic. Very large with healthy servings of fried egg, hashbrowns, and bacon. Due to it being pre-made, i'm not sure if there were more options had I custom ordered it but we loved them. There was only one lady that appeared to be working behind the counter and she had alot of phone orders pending. She recommended calling in first which I will definitely do next time. Very pleased with our breakfast burritos and can't wait to try again.“
