We made reservations. The options were "The Cellar" "Chef's Counter" and "Dining Room."

Just know The Cellar is just a basement. We were expecting a dining experience around wines but it was just a dingy basement. The finishes in the basement are not nice at all. Seemed like they slapped it together for extra seating.

Their stairs are not to code. Code states you need 12" depth min treads. These were more 6". Just very awkward and very much a tripping hazard.

Also they really could benefit from some acoustical sound absorption. It was toooo loud in the basement.

As far as the food. We got the Chef's 7 course meal. The food was good. A lot of it was butternut squash related. It also seemed like they don't try their food because half of it was lacking seasoning. I dunno something was off but I would say the other half was really tasty. I will say we did not leave hungry. We actually left with leftovers. Which we were very pleasantly surprised.

An absolute experience above the rest. If you live in Yakima and haven't visited Crafted, you are missing out. If you are visiting Yakima and Crafted isn't on your list, I recommend adding it. The location is easy to get to. Close to the downtown Yakima hotels. A greeting with a smile as you come in setting the mood for a welcoming dining experience. This will be a part of your visit that you won't soon forget.

The changing menu gives it the fresh new taste that you can always come to expect that something amazing is awaiting you. Seated at the bar top by the kitchen I was able to watch how the kitchen team worked so well together to craft each dish. Taking passion in what they do. Striking up conversation with you, making you feel at home.

The first dish was the scallops. Perfectly cooked. I have never pictured scallops as a fall dish, but after the presentation and the flavors packed into it, I can't think of fall now without thinking of the savory pine nuts paired with the scallops. Drinks were perfectly paired and followed by the chocoflan. The staff giving recommendations that didn't disappoint. You can feel the environment there is one that they enjoy being in and each of them treated me with the friendliest demeanor. Not feeling that I was just being assigned to one person and feeling a cold attitude from the rest. No. Here they all worked together to create a welcoming atmosphere to pair with the amazing food.

I look forward to coming again and trying what other flavor packed dishes they come up with.

Chef Dan and his team serve up culinary delights, to quote the movie “burnt”, Crafted serves up “culinary orgasms” you will eat until you “stop eating”.. you’ll want to try everything, every night, and your only limit will be space in your body.

Delicious, Amazing, and the best food you’ll ever eat until you return again… can’t wait to be back, already booked the next reservation.

Lack of pretense might make you overlook Crafted. That would be a huge mistake because the food was amazing. So many locally sourced ingredients paired with such a relaxed atmosphere makes you really appreciate this true stand out of chef and restraunt.

Well.. unfortunately for 105$ our two dishes were raw, cold and all around terrible. However, the servers and staff are absolutely amazing and make the whole experience. I would gladly pay 105$ for the service any day! Maybe just not 105$ for the food.

Great restaurant with a fun menu, excellent staff and lively vibe. We had the chef's tasting menu and wine pairing. This included 7 courses and 4 glasses of wine. Our waiter was great at explaining what was coming out, and made sure to ask for our preferences and allergies. Each course was delicious. The green beans had a nice sauce and were perfectly cooked. The tomatoes were equally delicious. We also had the salmon, goat cheese, a pasta dish, the steak and a dessert. My only complaint is the steak came on the rare side. The dessert was a chocolate covered banana cream puff thing that had some nuts and caramel. It was a ton of food, well worth the price. Make reservations, all the tables were filled.

This is a nice dining experience. We did the seven course chef’s tasting, a fun variety of well made dishes. Our favorites were the tomatoes and scallops.

There aren't words to describe how amazing this place is. We've been here twice now and have reservations for next month....the food (and drinks) are absolutely incredible. So thoughtful and cooked beautifully. Chef Dan has done a wonderful job with the space, the staff, and the menu. Looking forward to our next meal...as always!

We stayed a night in Yakima, unexpectedly and looked around for a place to eat. We're so glad we found Crafted, this was a delightful evening out in a restaurant with friendly attentive staff, great atmosphere and delicious food. Special mention for a S'More dessert that was really lovely. Highly recommended; what a delightful serendipitous discovery for a couple of travelling Brits!

Chef Koommoo, Molly, Kelly and team should get an extra star for their ability to be this good on every level, yet remain unpretentious and make it look easy.

Crafted is solid! Kind people flowing together and cranking out crazy good locally sourced food and drink.

The menu no doubt changes regularly but we loved the tartare, chanterelles, tagliatelle (that cashew cream with the beet pasta ?), and the sturgeon poke. All were perfection.

The crafted team makes the local ingredients and creativity work without a hint of coming off as disjointed, fanatical or pretentious, which is hard to do when executing what they do, and it’s not hard to find locavore restaurants that fail at this anywhere you go!

We recommend sitting at the bar by the kitchen, it’s a show. Beyond food prep, it’s also fun to watch how well the team flows and knocks their tasks out without being too harried. At one point ≈10 orders of oysters came in and we watched Chef Dan team up with his people and methodically crank out the shaved ice, freshly shucked/arranged kusshis, and mignonette in just a few smooth minutes.

Noise level and drinks are dialed. The Bartender’s a gent and a pleasure. Didn’t have dessert but they looked fabulous. The modest and straightforward flatware, tongs and dishes are actually artful in how they fit into the mix.

If we had one suggestion it would be to either offer two sizes of the sturgeon or reduce the portion just slightly. Even though it’s a shareable like everything else, it’s SO good and SO rich that it’s overwhelming - but turns out it’s amazing on eggs the next day, too.

Thanks Crafted team for showing how it’s done. Can’t wait to come back.
