This is my 5th time to Crafted. The food is always incredible. My partner and I make a trip to the area annually specifically so we can dine here. This time I will say I was super disappointed in the dessert. We've done the chef's menu before and previously were still given an option for dessert. I'm a former pastry chef and value dessert highly. I love pavlova and was really looking forward to trying their corn husk pavlova currently on the menu. This time we didn't get the option despite indicating to the server that we had a dessert preference. I can't rate less than 5 stars because the food was and always is delicious but I did walk away disappointed this time.

My wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary here. The service was gracious and friendly, atmosphere was nice, and food was largely on point. The cocktail and coffee weren't the best. We enjoyed the hamachi crudo, oysters, tartare, beets, bok choy, New York strip, and the cherry crisp. The best dish, in my opinion, was the beets, but my wife disagreed, they weren't her favorite. She probably enjoyed the oysters the most, which were fresh, crisp, and delicious. Overall, this was a great experience and a delightful evening.

I’ve lived all over the country. I’ve tried Michelin star restaurants. I love food. This place exceeds all expectations. The flavors, the local highlights of farms, and the service far surpass anything I’ve tried. Would encourage anyone to come here.

First I’ll say the food was outstanding & the service was incredible. Loved everything we ordered from the cocktails through to dessert. Can’t possibly say enough good things about the food.

Two things that could be improved: 1. the high noise level impeded conversation. And caused the people at the next table to talk so loudly I could hear parts of their conversation. 2 some nice, tasteful, modern silverware, rather than the flimsy seemingly second hand silverware, would enhance the visual experience for customers, as well as more accurately reflect the quality of the food served.

Look forward to eating here again

Upon entering, one immediately understands the concept of this place. It is aesthetically and conceptually well thought out, delivering a unique experience. While it is not fine dining, it is designed for enjoying a good time with the people who matter most, sharing both the experience and the dishes.

Every detail is meticulously curated, from the furniture to the water bottles, napkins, plates, and candles. The menu is incredibly creative, and the food we enjoyed was exceptional.

The customer service was outstanding. The staff checked in with us at just the right intervals and noticed that our appetizers were taking longer to arrive than they deemed acceptable. Without us even needing to mention it, they graciously brought us an asparagus plate on the house. They even repacked the remaining food for us without us having to ask. The food itself is very high-quality, local, and seasonal.

I really want to give this a perfect 10, but I had to rate it a three instead. The reason is the chipped plates. This is unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one of this caliber. It’s not just about the appearance; the chips and cracks can create crevices where food particles and bacteria accumulate. This makes them difficult to clean and can potentially harbor harmful microorganisms. Another thing is that restaurants are supposed to provide a scoop when serving ice, as outlined in food safety guidelines. This is crucial for maintaining hygiene and preventing contamination. Unfortunately, this was not done, and I had to use my hands instead. Additionally, I recommend serving gin and Chartreuse chilled. The otherwise perfectly crafted cocktail I enjoyed was slightly warm.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone; it is phenomenal. Before that is done, I hope the management improves their sanitary standards as soon as possible.

My wife and I have made the 3 hour round trip to eat here more than a dozen times since first trying Crafted about a year and a half ago. If you are a foodie, this is a MUST dining experience. The team at Crafted creates an ever changing menu sourced from local producers using the freshest available in season ingredients. Every bite they conjur up is heaven for your taste buds and leaves you desiring the next. To explain it simply is to say they take your wildest, most unimaginable food dreams and make them a realities you didn't know were possible. Don't get me started on what their desserts are like.....my god!!! Prices are more than fair, the constantly changing menu never disappoints on a single offering, the staff is incredible (especially Jen!!) and the dining style is fluid and fun. Beyond any doubt, Crafted is one of the BEST dining experience you will have, if not the best.

Highly recommend the chefs table.

The oysters were delicate. Perfect for an appetizer with a touch of raspberry. The halibut moist, fresh and flavorful.
Fig bourbon old fashioned to top the meal off.

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to try this place out. I have heard good things about it and thought this would be a special treat to enjoy a nice dessert to wrap up our evening. The atmosphere was wonderful and the servers were polite and attentive. We ordered the cheesecake which sounded and looked amazing. This is where it took a horrible turn.
As we were waiting for our dessert we both proceeded to watch 2 workers trying to cut the cake. Both were not wearing gloves and were both touching the cake as they cut it. My wife who has an autoimmune disorder needs to be more cautious to exposure of potential sources of infection became immediately upset in watching this.
Myself as a medical professional also became upset at watching this. When the server came to deliver the dessert we politely declined it and explained why. The server completely understood and took the dessert away and tried his best to rectify the situation. We appreciated his efforts. I have no doubt they wash their hands but I would have expected better from a restaurant of this caliber. The menu looked amazing and sounds amazing and I would love to take my wife back and enjoy some of their food. But after witnessing what had happened we definitely have a sour taste in our mouth to return.

We made reservations. The options were "The Cellar" "Chef's Counter" and "Dining Room."

Just know The Cellar is just a basement. We were expecting a dining experience around wines but it was just a dingy basement. The finishes in the basement are not nice at all. Seemed like they slapped it together for extra seating.

Their stairs are not to code. Code states you need 12" depth min treads. These were more 6". Just very awkward and very much a tripping hazard.

Also they really could benefit from some acoustical sound absorption. It was toooo loud in the basement.

As far as the food. We got the Chef's 7 course meal. The food was good. A lot of it was butternut squash related. It also seemed like they don't try their food because half of it was lacking seasoning. I dunno something was off but I would say the other half was really tasty. I will say we did not leave hungry. We actually left with leftovers. Which we were very pleasantly surprised.

An absolute experience above the rest. If you live in Yakima and haven't visited Crafted, you are missing out. If you are visiting Yakima and Crafted isn't on your list, I recommend adding it. The location is easy to get to. Close to the downtown Yakima hotels. A greeting with a smile as you come in setting the mood for a welcoming dining experience. This will be a part of your visit that you won't soon forget.

The changing menu gives it the fresh new taste that you can always come to expect that something amazing is awaiting you. Seated at the bar top by the kitchen I was able to watch how the kitchen team worked so well together to craft each dish. Taking passion in what they do. Striking up conversation with you, making you feel at home.

The first dish was the scallops. Perfectly cooked. I have never pictured scallops as a fall dish, but after the presentation and the flavors packed into it, I can't think of fall now without thinking of the savory pine nuts paired with the scallops. Drinks were perfectly paired and followed by the chocoflan. The staff giving recommendations that didn't disappoint. You can feel the environment there is one that they enjoy being in and each of them treated me with the friendliest demeanor. Not feeling that I was just being assigned to one person and feeling a cold attitude from the rest. No. Here they all worked together to create a welcoming atmosphere to pair with the amazing food.

I look forward to coming again and trying what other flavor packed dishes they come up with.

Chef Dan and his team serve up culinary delights, to quote the movie “burnt”, Crafted serves up “culinary orgasms” you will eat until you “stop eating”.. you’ll want to try everything, every night, and your only limit will be space in your body.

Delicious, Amazing, and the best food you’ll ever eat until you return again… can’t wait to be back, already booked the next reservation.
