i have been going to Essencia Bakery on average once a week for years. The soups, sandwiches, salads, breads, treats, cakes, cookies are amazing. You can tell they love what they do because it is reflected in everything they make including the peanutbutter cookies, oatmeal and coffee! Recently I bought a Danish rye bread at Essencia, and it was so delicious with butter, jam and honey that I could not stop eating it!! We are lucky to have Essencia here!!🥰❤️😋

I don’t live in Yakima, but whenever I visit, this is an essential stop! This might be one of the best bakeries I’ve been to in Washington, and the PNW. Be sure and get there early, because they can sell out of many items.

I come to Yakima for the beer, but this is my favorite place in town. Anything with the croissant dough is fabulous. Coffee is delicious, well done and what ya need after long days crushing beers, wandering hop fields. Come early if you want selection. The secret’s out.
