We purchased the imperial dinner for two, along with a special fried rice. I asked the gal if the bbq pork was enough for two and she assured me it was. This order was to go as we live approximately 25 miles away. When I went to pick this order up the waitress told me everything was there as they checked it twice. It was explained that we had an issue the last time when we didn't receive certain items of our order. She assured me it was correct. When getting home and opening up the dinner, there was no bbq pork, nor fried rice which come with the meal. At this time I didn't recognize that we didn't have the rice.We had our special fried rice which we ordered in addition. I called once and complained that we did not receive the bbq pork. When I called the first time I did not realize we hadn't received the rice. She said that I can come back and get the bbq pork. It was explained that we live 25 miles out of town and was told the order was together and expected the bbq pork to be a part of this meal. She said when you come back we'll give you a bbq pork. I hung up and as I start eating the egg roll I'm noticing it being hard and kind of burnt, so I'm also noticed that we didn't have the rice as well,So I called them back and told them I want my money back. She said bring the food back and we will give you your money back. It was said that will be the next day. So we packed up the meal with most of it untouched. By the way the sweet and sour was hard as well . We bring the food back she takes it back to the manager and five min later says they will only give half of our money back. I explained that the majority of the food was there and the meal was bad, but they refused to do any more. Personally I have never had to take a meal back . Obviously the organization cares noting about future business otherwise they would have provided a full refund. Secondly they were not busy. There were no patrons in the restaurant and they had two people come in for pick up orders. We gave them at least 80% of the meal back. Golden wheel used to be good. We had been going there since the late 70's but their quality has deminished over time. We will not be returning.

Worst Chinese food ever it tasted so nasty and bland everything was gross definitely the first and only Chinese restaurant I went to that was disgusting don’t eat here unless you like bland flavorless food, no wonder there main clientele is the elderly.

Food was not it. I've never had such Asian food this bad. The sweet and sour was sour and stinchy. Fried rice was mushy like oatmeal. Sooo disappointed. We didn't even try to finish the food. Bathroom looked like there was blood all over my son was like hope we don't come back.

Ok. I thought this place was a cool place but it's not. They don't like black people especially the owner he is one racist individual. The food was ok but until I seen with my own eyes and ears that this place really does not like black people I realize this place is trash. I been in this area a year now and experienced a lot of racist people they're nonsense and fakeness...I really wish people would just tell you your not wanted. I rather be told not to enter come to a place because I'm black and have fake service and people possibly messing with your food.I will never eat or drink from this place again glad it was only one time..

Use to be our favorite Chinese restaurant both my husband and myself grew up in Yakima , unfortunately the last 4 years it has gone downhill So sad my Mother would order takeout when I was a kid And on her birthday I would pick up take out for her and she's 84 Hopefully they can turn it around

So sad with the recent conditions. My family has a tradition to go here between Christmas and new years every year. I always looked forward to the almond chicken and tea. We just went today though and something has drastically changed. The chicken was so salty that it was inedible, the tea had no flavor and the only sweetener they have now is sugar, the lo mein was gooey. The sweet and sour sauce was obviously out of a jar. I don't know what they've changed but we all decided it's time for a new family tradition.

Service: friendly, but not knowledgeable about Chinese food (they do not have, nor had they heard of, Chinese red sauce commonly served with BBQ pork). Ambiance: dark and antiquated. Showed up during the lunch hour between 12-1 and were the only ones there (and didn't check Yelp first - big mistake). Tables were dirty with dried crusty food on them. Food was not good, rice was dry (not cooked fresh), sweet & sour chicken was clearly a breaded chicken patty which had then been sliced up into smaller pieces and covered in gelatinous sweet & sour sauce (also not made fresh and was more of a sweet jelly rather than a sauce). The price of each dish is around $18 which is very expensive for food that is not cooked fresh and does not taste good.

Was super disappointed. My mom and dad went here when I was younger. Loved this place. I came back into town and ordered food. I couldn't even eat the pork fried rice. The horrible stench of vinegar or something rancid from it gagged me. The chicken was super dry, to the point where I needed water to wash it down. My dog wouldn't even eat it. So bummed. I had high hopes as I spent a lot of time here when I was a little girl. Gross.
