I ordered 2 cakes one was so dry hard and old . So disappointed ☹️ it was my birthday and cake is my absolute favorite. How could you charge 70 dollars for dry hard cake . The other one was ok it was thres leches not the best but not old and hard .

The cake here is surprisingly good. I went into this bakery for the first time a few weeks ago, since it was recommended for me for their cakes and I was not disappointed.To begin with, the cakes are kind of pricey, at least for the tres leches. However, the flavor of the cake definitely justified the price. The cake was moist but not overly saturated. It was just the right amount of sweet for me (I don't like overly sweet foods), and the sizes seem to be big enough to allow for the cake to be completely gone without waste, at least that was the case for me.The store itself is crowded, and the parking lot is small, cramped, and difficult to navigate getting in and out, but those were minor issues for me.

The thousand-leaf cake is delicious.
They were amazing for my wedding cake design got exactly what I asked for and the cake was delicious, will always be my cake spot.
I recommend the pie de mil hojas that they sell here, it's delicious and they give you the design that you want, the owner helps you find it if they don't have it in his design book

Are Mexican donuts and bakery items intentionally dry and always kind of taste day-old? To me, all these things taste the same, each one is bigger than the next, when instead maybe should focus on smaller, better tasting treats. Think moist and fresh and melts in your mouth.....yummy! Not dry, chokes you, can't swallow and tasting like day old corn flakes.:)
