Always look forward to the tamales and pork carnitas at Hernandez. The ladies who take my order and prepare the food are always friendly and helpful.
I stopped by this evening the lady was sweet however it had been awhile since I’ve been by and I was completely shook by the prices!! two dozen tamales and a med sized salsa I paid $74!!! This is insane. I do like the tamales but can’t say that I will be back unfortunately. I was warned by others that it was pricey but I didn’t think it was gonna be of that extreme. Very rude and arrogant. Use’s prestigious awards as an excuse to be rude and apparently doesn’t need any support from customers. The tamales are also too mushy the last time I had them.
