New American Restaurants in Yakima, WA

“This is an update review of our experience on Nov 25th. We took our daughter from San Diego to Crafted - again! This was the fourth time in five months. We drove 78 miles to get here (one way). As usual, we took the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Great wait staff, amazing food - each course was sublime. As usual, to start - wonderful oyster - this time with a chimichurri sauce, followed by a cured salmon with in season cosmic crisp apple, then a gorgeously plated sweet potatoes with beautiful toppings (a perfectly seasoned spiced) then a wonderful home made pasta, followed by a farm-raised sturgeon (sublime.... zero fishy smell. Firm meat...) and then a HUGE beef... Then they indulged us with two deserts... We ended rolling out of Crafted in our bellies and 4 boxes of left-overs. Pro-tip - don't finish everything served in each course... as the portion is huge... It just got better in each course. Love this place“

“Such a fantastic staff. 30 minutes before close they allowed 18 hungry bikers to come in. They stayed open after closing time for us. The food and the service were outstanding!“

“We had the best meal and experience here last night. Our waitress was a total gem and took the best care of our table of 13. Seriously, best server ever, she made our evening! I forget her name, but she is the one who thinks ketchup is spicy and she had strawberry blonde hair :) All of our food tasted so good and we loved sharing many appetizers. Complements to the chef! Each of us had a favorite appetizer but the crab stuffed mushrooms and the Bavarian pretzel, which was huge were standouts! Every single person in our party enjoyed their meal. The drinks were so good. The Cider with honey was delightful. Highly recommend!!“

“Have not eaten there, so I can't rate that, but I have been there around 10 times. The people who work there are great. The customers are nice people. The pool tables are in good shape, and the area is large and fun with the way it is set up with the couch and the tractor. The drinks are made to perfection. The karaoke nights are fun. Sometimes, everyone in the bar sings along. Wish this place was open more often.“

“I want to give a shout out to Bernie, my server tonight. He was incredibly attentive, made sure I had everything I needed, and handled a small mix-up with my order quickly and graciously. His positivity really stood out and made my stay at this hotel more enjoyable.

It’s easy to forget, especially when we’re traveling or indulging, that our comfort often relies on the hard work of others.

“We / my husband and I were there from Rocklin, California at a reunion.. we got there very late. Most of the food was gone. It looked delicious.. however, we didn’t get to enjoy it!! That of course our fault! … but I happen to be very hungry… two of your waiters (gentlemen) asked me if there was something they could get for me! Of course I said, yes!! I asked for Iced Tea .. brought to me immediately and then the second gentleman asked if he could get something for me .. he brought me a small loaf of that delicious bread nicely warm and butter!! It was delicious!! I would like to commend those two gentlemen!! Your restaurant is phenomenal as well as elegant!!! Thank you!! If ever I am in your city I will stop by and maybe the next visit I can enjoy that delicious food you offer!! Beautiful place!!“

“I have been going there for over 15 years I drink a mocha and I do not like foam my cup is always full with liquid to the very very top every one of the ladies there are super friendly very fast they treat me like family the only complaint I have is they do not have their shop across the street from my house lol love you guys so much.“

“A hotel restaurant. Bernie, our server, said he “started the hotel about 13 years ago.” He’s a good conversationalist and when asked, he recommended the spicy Portuguese sausage. I decided on something else. The restaurant is not “permanently closed” but it might be closed occasionally for dinner, as was the case on Super Bowl Sunday. It seems mostly a hotel guests visit here (1 other couple on Monday AM). Current menus are included with this review. Full-service Breakfast is not free at this hotel however my party of 2 received one $15 hotel voucher prize. I had the country fried steak breakfast which was fine. Spouse had the veggie skillet which includes 2 eggs and cheese, which was good. Not 5 stars because the water tastes bad, with and without ice; apparently it’s not filtered. Consider bottled water maybe, or order a drink.
