Back in the day the Yakima Avenue was a place to cruise, talk to friends, check out the fast cars.... now it's about food, and great places to eat. PURRR..... is one of many phenomenal eateries. 23 classmates arrived to sit and talk about stories from the earlier days and share pictures of their grandbabies. Class of 81 represented Toppenish High School in a fine fashion. Without skipping a beat, Maggie stepped to the challenge and served us with the greatest of attention and detail. Sociability and professionalism of Maggie made for an evening of mindless smiles and attention being paid to our guests, versus worrying about wait staff or food being delivered. All food, placed in front of our guests was well-received and accolades were given to the chef from the dining room... a great menu that is reasonably priced, making for an enjoyable evening for all. Purrr is easily one of my favorite spots in town. The service is consistently incredible, and the drink menu is outstanding — the cocktails are always perfectly crafted. The food I’ve had has been genuinely delicious, and the overall experience is always enjoyable. You can tell the team works extremely hard to create a welcoming and well-run environment. A fantastic local place that truly stands out

This place is fantastic! I was in town for a few days on business and ended up going back three times. The food is outstanding, and the drinks are just as impressive. Gabby provided impeccable service — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made every visit feel welcoming and effortless. The rest of the staff and even the other patrons were just as friendly. This truly feels like Yakima’s version of Cheers — a place where everyone knows your name.

Refreshing cucumber water to go with some of the best sandwiches we've ever had. The french dip with mushrooms and onions and Cuban with rosemary fries were incredible. The whole menu looked great.

What a great place! Long Island Iced Tea was perfect! I had the jalapeño, Hamburg, bacon Mac and cheese. Delicious!
Came in on Saturday right before seeing Felipe Esparza at the Capitol Theatre. Sat at the bar and was greeted with some cucumber water (yum). Bartender quickly got my drink and appetizer order. She also let me sample the Huli Huli, which convinced me to order the Purrwaiian Flatbread.
The Gorgonzola Fries were amazing (see pic). If you’re a fan of Poutine you’ll definitely enjoy this. The plate was big enough to make it a full meal.
Purrwaiian Pizza was great as well. The Hulu Huli sauce was sweet and paired well with the Ham and Pineapple. Jalapeños gave it a nice spice and the Cilantro was the icing on the cake. Gave it a nice balance.
I normally am set on beer but they were sending out so many good looking drinks I had to order one. Got me a Huckleberry Mist and it was so good I had another.
Will definitely be back next time we’re in Yakima.

I'd give 5 stars just for the delicious cucumber infused water. It was so refreshing. No nasty tap water taste. Food was good and so was the service.

We enjoyed everything that we tried here - bruschetta, shrimp tacos (extremely flavorful), Hot Mama burger. We went on a Saturday evening and were able to get a table as soon as we entered. Service was quick and staff were friendly.
