Back in the day the Yakima Avenue was a place to cruise, talk to friends, check out the fast cars.... now it's about food, and great places to eat. PURRR..... is one of many phenomenal eateries. 23 classmates arrived to sit and talk about stories from the earlier days and share pictures of their grandbabies. Class of 81 represented Toppenish High School in a fine fashion. Without skipping a beat, Maggie stepped to the challenge and served us with the greatest of attention...

Purrr is easily one of my favorite spots in town. The service is consistently incredible, and the drink menu is outstanding — the cocktails are always perfectly crafted. The food I’ve had has been genuinely delicious, and the overall experience is always enjoyable. You can tell the team works extremely hard to create a welcoming and well-run environment. This place is fantastic! I was in town for a few days on business and ended up going back three times. The food is outstanding, and the drinks are just as impressive.
Gabby provided impeccable service — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made every visit feel welcoming and effortless. The rest of the staff and even the other patrons were just as friendly.
This truly feels like Yakima’s version of Cheers — a place where everyone knows your name.
