I was in Yakima Washington area I looked up who had block ice Safeway popped up went in paid and asked where the ice was they said the lobby I went there no block ice went back for a refund and a employee said we have not had block ice for over 10 years but yet they took my money I was pissed went to Fred Meyer and I was a happy customer they had it

Zenshi Sushi - Anna, the Sushi Chef is the sweetest and cares about her customers! She goes above and beyond for them. The rest of the deli staff and Starbucks baristas are awesome too. I am a regular and go in almost daily and they are always so kind and friendly!! Definitely my go to Safeway here in Yakima.

DO NOT EXPECT ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE AT THIS SAFEWAY. I just spent an hour filling up my cart with groceries only to find out that all the registers were closed. Only option is self-checkout. I had a ton of vegetables etc. It was 09:00pm on a Saturday night. They are open until midnight. There are no signs up warning that all the registers were closed, or will close after a certain time. I would have not started shopping there if I would have known that. If they can make a sign warning that a door will be locked after a certain time of the day, then they can also make a sign stating no checkers will be available after a certain time. No reason to hide the lack of service they want to offer their customers. The person in charge "Deacon" was not helpful at all. He basically blamed it on the management, which, of course, was not there. He didn't even offer to help me. I would have waited until nobody was in self checkout. There was hardly anybody there anyway. I left the store empty handed. What a horrible experience, and it was at a Safeway. WOW! Deacon gave me the store director's name, (Mark Ault), and told me I could call him tomorrow. We all know it is probably a lost cause. Online ordering from somewhere other than Safeway appears to be the next step for me.

I’ve always gone to Safeway for short and easy shopping needs. I get my prescriptions filled her as well. But grocery prices are a bit higher so I don’t go here for large trips.

Customer Service Was Extremely Poor, Had To Wait At The Desk For Over 5 Minutes While The Individual That Finally Came Out Appeared To Have Been Telling A Story From The Night Before.. Also, I Would State That The Store Was Under Staffed..

At the hot food counter I noticed that what I ordered was terrible the food was tasteless and the people that live in this area are extra helpful and kind I think they deserve better deli workers including the cook he's grouchy and everyone knows what you feel is what you put into the food you cook the Asian man is a grouchy and so is the guy with the glasses and black hair.

I went up to the liquor section and pushed the button. Just as I did, some man comes running around the corner and yells at me. He then retrieved my request product and proceeded to walk back to the front at almost a run. I have a bad knee and cannot move very fast. I got up to the self pay and there's no bottle and he's already running back to the liquor section. Now I'm standing there, not sure what to do. I ended up having to find ANOTHER employee to help me finish my purchase. This is not the first time I was treated poorly by this man, but it is definitely the last. I will not be returning to this store.

Been my neighborhood store for 5 years. They are consistent. Have deals on what we buy. Always friendly and helpful staff. I do buy from nearby places but this store is my go to place of choice. The only reason I shop roseaurs is because they have better bacon and seafood over the counter! ;)

I got shrimp from the seafood department. The man working, Seth i believe, was very kind and explained to me what the difference is between Prawns and shrimps and we landed on Shrimp as what i was looking for. He made my shopping experience better than last time.
