I hired Shirley to create our simple but tasty 3-tier cake for our 50-person wedding in September 2017 and she did not disappoint! Since I had an outdoor wedding, we chose refreshing and must-have flavors (lemon and raspberry swirl filling, chocolate cake as the popular choice) based on her recommendations and both flavors were huge hits among our guests -- so much that we had to cut into our top tier to make sure people got enough cake at our wedding. Our wedding took place in 100-degree heat so Shirley made sure to give careful instructions for when to best place the cake outside to avoid it melting in the sun. We also appreciate how Shirley took the time to do a tasting with us which was done at the local mall in Yakima. One of my biggest regrets from the wedding is that I did not eat enough of my own wedding cake or take home any! Thanks, Shirley!

Shriley did my cake for my wedding July 9 th 2016 . it was so good everybody at wedding were telling the cake was so good. she made look so pretty was happy with it. We red velvet and marble with butter cream frosting. It was good. If anybody ask were too go for cake I would tell them her.

I ordered my wedding cake last summer and although it was good, it wasn't the cake that I ordered: it had coconut flavored frosting and didn't have the silver beads that were supposed to be on it. It wasn't what I paid for.

I hired Shirley's Cakes for my wedding on May 3, 2008, and was really happy with the cake! We set up an appointment and she allowed us to taste the flavors that we wanted. We chose the white cake with raspberry/cream cheese filling. It was VERY tasty cake and everyone seemed to like it. We choose to just do flat sheet cakes (rather than a tiered cake) because we wanted a specific design. She did a fantastic job with the unusual decorations that we wanted (it was a drawn cartoon—like out of a newspaper) and it looked exactly like we wanted it to look! She delivered the cake on time, and was very pleasant to work with. Although we didn't do a tiered cake, the tiered cakes on her web site looked pretty fabulous—I'm sure they would be awesome, too! I would definitely recommend her to anyone having a wedding or just a party!
