My experience was TERRIBLE the costumer service the the worst service from starburst they were rude and being rude to the other baristas I could see my drink and still haven’t gotten in till 10 minutes later… the coffee ended up being burnt and none of the drinks tasted remotely good or like they have tasted before..

I’m leaving this review because I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Starbucks location.
I came in around 9:30 a.m. with my boyfriend and ordered two drinks, one for my coworker, as I was on a work break, and one for myself. I ordered my coworker’s drink first: a venti hot Americano with cream and powdered cinnamon. When I ordered my own drink, I said “peppermint white chocolate mocha” and forgot to specify the size, which was an honest mistake. The barista responded with “What size?” in a very rude and sharp tone. I immediately apologized and said venti.
What stood out to me was that when my boyfriend ordered right after, the same barista spoke to him very sweetly, asked for his name, and wrote it on his cup. She never asked for my name. My boyfriend even pointed it out and asked why she didn’t ask for mine.
I then pulled up my Starbucks app because I wanted to earn the rewards points, even though my boyfriend was paying. I explained that I wasn’t sure which barcode to use and asked for help. The barista appeared annoyed and did not explain anything, only pointing at my screen and saying “that one.” I told her that barcode was for payment and I wasn’t paying, and she responded rudely that if I wanted points, I had to pay through the app. I was polite and apologetic the entire time, but her tone remained dismissive, so I just let my boyfriend pay.
When we received the drinks, I noticed that she had written my boyfriend’s name on his cup with a wink next to it. None of the other drinks ordered had writing on them. I understand Starbucks has started writing messages on cups, but this felt inappropriate given how differently I was treated compared to my boyfriend.
I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but the lack of professionalism, the clear difference in how we were treated, and the wink on my boyfriend’s cup made the situation uncomfortable and unnecessary. I hope this is addressed so future customers are treated with the same level of respect and professionalism.

Visited the Starbuck inside of my local Safeway and had a disappointing experience that I would like clarification on from the owner or manager.

I have visited this Starbucks location several times before and have never encountered this issue. I stopped at Safeway for a few times before work and decided to order a coffee as well. When I approached the Starbucks register, the employee communicated with me that Starbucks can no longer ring up Safeway items. I thanked her and left, but I was disappointed, as the ability to purchase Safeway items while ordering an item off the Starbucks menu has been a key convenience of ordering Starbucks at this location.

I want to know if this policy is true. Is it true that the registers labeled as Safeway registers at the Starbucks locations inside of Safeway stores can no longer scan Safeway items? If so, I would appreciate being directed as to where I can read this policy.

The primary reason I visit this Starbucks is convenience. I shop at Safeway knowing I can also order an item off their menu and cash out my desired purchases from Safeway and vice versa. Removing this option seems counterproductive and may result in a loss of consumer, as customers would now need to wait in two separate lines. This change negatively impacts the customer experience.

Also, I found it unwarranted to be turned away despite the fact that there was no line at Starbucks and no other customers being assisted at the time, I was carrying only five small items in my hands. I would understand this policy being enforced during busy periods or with large grocery purchases, but that was not the case here. The Starbucks employee was not assisting anyone, she was simply standing there, and my transaction would have been fast, and she would have had a Starbucks customer.

If this policy is accurate, I would appreciate confirmation from the owner or manager. If not, I am concerned that employees may be incorrectly communicating this policy to potential customers. Either way, I would appreciate clarification and guidance on where I can review this new policy.

They wouldn't scan the app. She kept telling me that they don't take the app or do the rewards at the store since they're located in Safeway. But I know that's not true. She kept asking me to pay in cash, which seemed fishy. I paid on a credit card but I didn't get stars or get to use my reward since she refused to scan the app. I'm not surprised they're shutting down stores.

This Starbucks at Safeway on 5th Ave has the rudest barista in the county. I can't believe they hired her. Absolutely never had such bad service at any coffee stand. She couldn't be worse if she tried. Coffee was not so great either.

I will be the first to admit I'm not fond of this place for many reasons starting with overpriced drinks and overpriced shots of coffee since you have to add because they don't include coffee in the drinks and the service is atrocious but today is Christmas and all my wife wanted was a blended coffee with two shots all I have is 8.25 to my name so we go and ask how much and she says 8.28 after tax and I'm like all I have is 8.25 do you have. 03 cents we can have and she says no do you really rude and I'm like no but it's Christmas and she says no pay it all or no coffee seriously on Christmas and she had to make my wife cry because of 3 pennies now I'm not much for coffee but for this kind of service I'm outraged and will be spreading my message of the Batista that stole Christmas ba humbug to you Starbucks

Recommend the elf on the shelf. Strawberry puree on bottom. Vanilla bean in middle with 4 pumps of peppermint and more strawberry puree on top frap. Taste like candy cane and kid friendly drink. No coffee
