Sumo Hibachi & Sushi - Yakima

Cannot rate the food, but can say these people deny service dogs and expect people to eat outside with their service dogs in 93° temps!! I won't eat here ever again, service sucks!!

Okay so I honestly I love this place. Food is amazing but the only reason it’s four star instead of five is due to the front restaurant girl with the red hair. Gave me the ugliest gen z stare I’ve ever had. Then every time she walked passed the table would give me the same stare. Told her as I was walking out to have a good day, once again Gen z stare and ignored me. This is the first experience people get from your restaurant and it’s honestly a little off putting. I will always recommend this restaurant and I will always eat here but I will no longer be nice to someone who purposely ignores and rudely stares at customers it’s very uncomfortable.

Food was just ok, but the service was terrible, tepinyaki had no flavor. We weren't going to leave a tip, but we felt bad and left $10 on a $150 dinner. Come to find out our party of 5 was a large party, and they put an 18 percent tip automatically.

Beautiful decor, good food, nice staff, BUT….if you are unable to walk stairs, you will NOT be able to use the restroom. For most people this will not be an issue, for me, it was. I would have planned ahead, if I had known.

Went for happy hour and was VERY pleased with the prices as well as the quality. The space was very well kept and clean. I appreciated the tall ceilings and the cute and simple decor. It was something I would not have expected in Yakima. The sushi was high quality in my opinion and came out quick. As a sushi connoisseur I would go back in a heart beat. No roll was left behind.

One of my favorite places to eat in Yakima. My whole family loves it! The Ichiban Roll, Avocado Bomb and the Mango Blossom are the best items in my opinion. So delicious!!

Excellent food. Service was outstanding as well. Very nice people an even had a robot server helper. Japanese Mayo dipping sauce is very tasty with the chicken appetizer. Forgot name.

The food is always amazing, the waiters however could be a bit more attentive. They are attentive till you get your food and after that you basically have to flag them down for a refill or to order more. I have sat for over 10 minutes after finishing everything waiting for the check and there were only 3 other tables. The atmosphere is every peaceful and quite.
