Sumo Hibachi & Sushi - Yakima

Recently when to this establishment, was very disappointed. Service was super slow. Took us about 40 minutes to get our food after ordering. We also had to wave down the waiter to even order. Watched other customers get up and leave because their food was taking to long. If you go be prepared to wait for mediocre food.

Great food, service and atmosphere! A robot delivery service. Food was fresh and the presentation award worthy. Prices are very reasonable.

The food was delicious. I especially liked how there was a Miso soup and a small salad with my Sushi combo , the soup had wonderful flavors in it and all the sushi was like eating from the great seas . Sumo Hibachi & Sushi

Sushi was nice. Service not what I expected. Server was curt, when I asked what the daily special was, I was directed to go take a photo of the sandwich board displayed at the entry. I was never checked on, a different Server came after a long wait to bring my bill.

Lousy service. Average food. Added a large party gratuity for 4 adults and a toddler. Will go to Ozeki Japanese Restaurant in town instead.

I ate there and I paid my bill. I rounded it up for the tip on my debit card. However, your staff added $50 to that that I did not authorize for a $60 meal. I got charged $128. Your staff stole for me And I would like them prosecuted and I would like a refund of the $50 that they stole from me I do not mind paying for the meal, but I rounded it up for his tip and he added the five to the zero that I put up there that is theft and you guys ruined it because I liked your restaurant I will never go there again because of that.

Cannot rate the food, but can say these people deny service dogs and expect people to eat outside with their service dogs in 93° temps!! I won't eat here ever again, service sucks!!

Okay so I honestly I love this place. Food is amazing but the only reason it’s four star instead of five is due to the front restaurant girl with the red hair. Gave me the ugliest gen z stare I’ve ever had. Then every time she walked passed the table would give me the same stare. Told her as I was walking out to have a good day, once again Gen z stare and ignored me. This is the first experience people get from your restaurant and it’s honestly a little off putting. I will always recommend this restaurant and I will always eat here but I will no longer be nice to someone who purposely ignores and rudely stares at customers it’s very uncomfortable.

The food is delicious and the wait staff are excellent. What more could you ask for.
