My friend and I were headed back to Seattle from walla walla and always stop in Yakima for some Los Hernandez Tamales. We usually find a wine tasting room to check out but had more than enough in walla walla and decided to see if there were any distilleries to check out. Using yelp we found a few but Swede Hill stuck out to me. With only two reviews and both at 5 stars, I was excited to try something new. Pam and Kevin are so nice and welcoming! They have such a cute set up and welcoming committee in their puppy, Susie. Kevin starting distilling as a hobby and has turned it into a line or spirits worth trying. Moonshine (apple and cherry pie), raspberry vodka and a whiskey too! All super good and easy to drink and especially dangerous. Both are very knowledgeable and will entertain your questions about the distilling process. I feel like this is a stop I must make whenever stopping in Yakima!Definitely call ahead to make a reservation since it is such a small operation.

We had such a great experience here today! The owner, Pam, was the most friendly, knowledgeable, and outgoing person around! Be sure to make an appointment ahead of time, but, you won't be disappointed! We spent about an hour learning about their products, how they distill, and tasting the products. All of their products are top notch! The Apple Pie Moonshine is great for mixing or just for sipping, and I can't wait to use the Cherry Moonshine in a drink! I can't recommend this place enough!

I bought the whiskey and the cherry moonshine at the Farmer's Market. Whiskey is good, but that cherry moonshine is amazing! We live in TX and are ordering more. So glad they ship!
