Give this place a shot! I drove by and was at first reluctant to enter due to chain link fence. The food was very good and tasty. Fyi the red salsa is SPICY! We preferred the green salsa. I'll go back again. Cute flowers set up on little seating area that made by wait enjoyable.

I had the carne asada and shrimp tacos with beans and rice from Tacos El Jefe, and they were hands down the BEST street tacos I’ve ever had! The carne asada was juicy and full of flavor, the shrimp were perfectly seasoned, and the tortillas tasted fresh and authentic. The beans and rice were delicious too—not just a filler, but made with care. The food came out hot, fast, and absolutely packed with flavor. You can tell they take real pride in their food. Listen, I’m a taco connoisseur. Hands down best Tacos. For a long time i’ve looked for a taqueria that would put whole beans on the taco like Momma use to make, and this place does. The tacos and Salsas are so good and Fresh. Also, I have to say, The effort in the presentation he gives is noticeable. You can tell this man loves the food he makes.

Wow, I just had one of the best burritos I’ve ever had—burrito had meat w mild red sauce, cabbage, cojita, cilantro, onion, beans, and rice. Food is authentic, inexpensive, and high quality. The courtyard with tables is covered and clean. We’re at an event at the Sundown and this food truck is just down the street.
They are the nicest people they have the best breakfast burritos in town and the the best espresso stand in Yakima Maria is the nicest person everyone should go and try their coffee and jefe's food.
