The host did not show good behavior and was rude towards the kid where he lacked basic manners on how to talk
ππ» First off, we are super thankful Taj Palace was open on December-25 π π»π π»π π» when no other place of choice was open at Yakima. Taj Palace was clean, and cozy. The buffet lineup was one of the cleanest I've seen. Every item was fresh - we are vegetarians and had ample option but no paneer in the buffet π (#firstworldproblems)
π©π»βπ« The lady/hostess at the front was super friendly, warm, and helpful! Honestly she reminded me of an indian actress (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar).
We did the buffet ππ² and also ordered Paneer Tikka Masala. The buffet was 9/10 ππ»ππ»ππ», food was fresh and tasty πππ. Our hostess made sure we had enough fresh naans π«π«π«. She was also gracious enough to let us feed our 3 year old πΆπ»πΆπ»πΆπ» from our buffet.
The paneer tikka masala was 10/10 - we ordered spicy and we got spicy and flavorful! π«π«π«
Highly recommend! Great choice if you are driving through. Excellent choice even if you are not driving through! ππ»ππ»ππ»

Food was good but I was charged a few dollars more than the printed menu price (for rack of lamb). I was told too bad, that's the new price. I have never had any place not honor their posted prices. I told the server I would have to take it out of his tip then and he said he was fine with that. I can't believe management would do such a thing to their servers.

Three times nowβ¦they say they open at 11. Itβs 11:15 and still not ready. Donβt take your lunch break here because they donβt care about time.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is amazing. The regular bar tender in on vacation so 1. Weβre not allowed to sit at the bar and 2. They wonβt allow me to taste a wine before ordering a glass. Absolutely ridiculous. As we were preparing to leave they finally stated βIβm not 18 yet so I canβt pour alcoholβ. When we were seated he said we could have beer, wine, or an easy drink like gin & tonic. His words. And someone poured my husband a whiskey. I donβt need the drink but get your story straight and tell the truth.

Awesome Indian restaurant food in the middle of the mountains ( about 150 miles from Seattle ).

We always have a pleasant experience here. They have lots of vegetarian entrees in the buffet and on the menu. Service is always good and prices are about mid-range for Indian restaurants.

Speaking of the food; it was just very average. The restrooms were also very unclean. I got chai tea over here, but that turned out to be too sweet and when I asked the server about, he didnβt bother replacing it either. I was still charged for it. Not worth going here.

Wonderful food, everything was delicious, plate licking good. Waiter was very helpful and Ballliwood movie was fun
The first thing we noticed was the atmosphere. It was very interesting & had us looking around the place the entire time! The guy that took our order was helpful with decisions on trying new stuff, but was a bit blunt. The wait for food was short, the appetizers were hot. The paneer & samosas were excellent. For our main courses we got coconut chicken curry & karahi lamb along with naan. It came with rice as a side for both. Very flavorful. Only complaint was the spice levels were the same (none) even though we ordered 2 different spice levels. Will definitely be back.
