Why Not My Thai Kitchen

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch today and it was not worth it what so ever. I got the orange chicken and my chicken was sour and hard, the rice didn’t taste clean, the salad was old, he got the teriyaki chicken and he said it was also sour and tasted like canned chicken, and all the same things for the rice and salad. I would not recommend coming here and we would not be coming back. For everything it was about $37 and for the food that was not worth the price. Even the strawberry lemonade tased old.

I was a regular customer here. The food has always been good. Tonight, on Mother's Day, my wife chose here to order for her Mother's Day dinner. When we got it there was absolutely no sauce on the Pad Thai. The green curry was loaded with onions, which they don't normally put in there. My wife does not like onions and has order the green curry multiple times, it has NEVER had onions in it. It also had no flavor or spice AT ALL. Finally, the rice WAS NOT COOKED ALL THE WAY.

We called them to let them know what was wrong (we never call or return wrong food, but this was so bad and on Mother's Day that we felt we needed to). We were informed that they would not remake our food because they were 30 minutes from closing and the only way to get a refund was to bring back the food. I told them that we had already eaten the gyoza (which was DELICIOUS) and drank the Thai Teas but because of the inconvenience of bringing the food back and it being a MOTHER'S DAY dinner (our kids were at home eating their food without my wife while we were dealing with this), we wanted a full refund. They refused.

We brought the food back and again asked for a full refund, they still refused. I asked for a manager and was told one wasn't there. We took our partial refund and informed them that we will be calling a manager tomorrow. The woman we were talking with was extremely rude and acted like she didn't care. She said well, we are busy so we won't remake anything.

As we left, another customer chased us down and told us to make sure we call. Apparently, her husband's meal was completely wrong and she was going someplace else to get food because they wouldn't remake it. She also let us know that while she was there eating she saw at least 4 other customers bring food back in.

My mother-in-law also ordered from there tonight and they were missing 3 full meals from their order when they picked it up. I am unsure if she was able to get a refund or food replacement.

This is unacceptable customer service and we will not be back.

Just went to this place for the first time today and it was so good!!! My friend and I got the gyoza and an order of butterflies as appetizers and already the food and service was amazing. Then our entrees came out and it was the best Pho I’ve ever had oh my goodness. Will definitely be going back for more! Love this place :)

If you love the smell of lavender fabulosa floor cleaner then this is your spot.
We came during lunch so a wait is expected but they brought us out the wrong food and had to wait 30 minutes for our actual food to come out. My green curry was topped with old basil (i put fresh basil in it to see if it would turn brown. It did not. the basil in the photo is how the dish came out from the kitchen).
I was freezing cold the entire time wearing a jacket and long sleeve shirt.
Do not recommend coming here if you want quick, helpful service.

This place is fantastic. Don’t understand how it can be under 4 stars. I’ve had every version of their curry and pho and it’s absolutely amazing—not to mention it’s the best priced curry I know of in Yakima. As of late 2024, $15 for curry/pho is insane. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I just ate here for the first time. This is the best pho I have ever had!
The staff is also very friendly. I will definitely keep coming back!

I was visiting and they denied me service just for bringing my drink. I was willing to consume in establishments. I think their policy is very bad or maybe they told me because it was a good color. They will stay with the owners. I don't recommend it.
