Deeply Disappointed – Discriminatory and Unsafe Experience
Would give this place 0 stars if I could!!!!! As a regular patron and Terrace Heights resident, I’ve always enjoyed Sportscenter— until now. I recently obtained a court-ordered protection order against an ex-boyfriend who has repeatedly harassed and threatened me, including multiple incidents at this very bar. I informed security of the situation weeks in advance.
Despite this, I was inexplicably denied entry during my most recent visit, while the man I filed against — who has a serious criminal history including domestic violence and assault — was allowed inside. No explanation was given, and I was left feeling humiliated and deeply uncomfortable.
I am a medical student, with no criminal history, and a Black woman. Being barred while my abuser, who is white, was welcomed sends a disturbing message: that victims of harassment, especially women of color, are not protected or believed.
This experience reflects poor judgment and raises serious concerns about racial discrimination and patron safety. My friends and I will not be returning to Sportscenter, because no establishment should enable the continued victimization of women or ignore legitimate safety concerns.

We had read their reviews and thought we would try out their pizza. The pizza was the toughest pizza we have had, two of the pieces were burnt as this pizza was left in the oven too long, The pizza did not have a lot of flavor either. The price for a sixteen inch pizza was over $33.00, and that was the only item we purchased. Very disappointed! Too much money for a very tough pizza!

My friend and I came here last week for lunch. I got the ceaser salad with chicken 4/5. My friend got the nachos and wings. He ate it all, must have been 5/5.
I was suprised that they had good food. I will definitely be back.

We sat for 20min.not one person ever stopped to see what we wanted to order, just kept walking by us. Terrible service won't be going back so many other places in town to go to with better service.

IF YOU ARE A WOMAN DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! I’ve never been profiled like that in my life. I had ONE drink and was aggressively thrown out of the establishment by MULTIPLE GROWN MEN. I’m assuming the security is on drugs like the rest of the staff and guests they choose not to bother. If I could give zero stars I would! DO NOT GO HERE!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Yakima Sports Center. I am honestly not even sure where to begin. The staff was unprofessional, rude, and, quite frankly, displayed behavior that felt racist and discriminatory. I was treated with blatant disrespect, and their attitude was unnecessarily hostile.
To make matters worse, they attempted to charge my card twice without my authorization, which is completely unacceptable. This kind of behavior not only reflects poor customer service but also raises serious ethical concerns about their business practices.
I strongly discourage anyone from supporting this establishment. Their lack of respect and professionalism made it a truly unpleasant experience. I hope management takes a hard look at how they treat their customers and address these issues immediately.

I really wish there was a way i could leave 0 stars im originally from the south so i believe in respect and hospitality and when i walk into an establishment i feel like i should be greeted but no i was actually targeted and stereotyped this place is probably the worse place you can walk into made me feel mad uncomfortable and i hate to pull the race card because im half German but this place is down right racist and you don’t get knowledge unless you’re fair colored

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at this sports bar was deeply disappointing. I was in town visiting family and stopped by hoping for a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Instead, I felt blatantly unwelcome and even discriminated against. The staff’s attitude toward me was cold and dismissive, while others around me seemed to receive friendly and attentive service.
I tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt, but the behavior was too consistent to ignore. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to enjoying myself here, but instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting an inclusive or respectful environment.
