If you're looking for consistency, Doug's is your spot. They're down a line cook, but couldn't tell. Service, food, and general atmosphere are normally consistent. Which is a good thing when coming into a hidden gem such as Dougs.
I love the atmosphere and customer service but the owners could work on food quality. Ordered popcorn shrimp and most of them still have the poop vein in them which is gross. Ordered steak and eggs for breakfast and eggs and toast were fine but the steak meat tasted a few days too old light it was starting to spoil. I ate most of it as I was starving and in a rush but couldn’t finish the steak due to taste. Didn’t have time to return it. Leaving review for...
Great little restaurant, the breakfast special when we visited was Eggs Benedict, my favorite. My husband had the Hobo scramble, and there was more than enough food for each of us.
