I have eaten at The Local quite a few times. The food is always amazing! The service has always been, lets say "relaxed". This time was the worst. 30 minutes to get 2 cokes because "we are low on glassware." 45 minutes for our appetizer. At 2 HOURS after being seated and still no food, we cancelled our order, paid for our cokes and appetizer and left. This is disappointing, its truly a management problem coupled with a kitchen problem. I am truly going to miss going there.
My husband and I were looking forward to lunch here today, but unfortunately, we never even made it to ordering.
Everything seemed fine at first as we waited to be seated. A waitress approached and told us she would clear a table for us at the front of the restaurant. Since we preferred to sit in the bar, where there was also an available table that needed clearing, I asked if we could take that one instead. Her response?
