I highly recommend stopping at this gem of a winery. The wines are delicious. The tasting room is situated nicely with a view of their vineyard and local surrounding orchards. They also have a great wine club. Moreover, the hosts are the most welcoming people we have met on the wine trail. You really must put this list of wineries to visit.
Velen Winery is a gem, where you are treated like old friends rather than customers. John (Winemaker) and Becca are kind, funny, generous, and are eager to share their story, their wines and their time with you.
The tasting room is warm, relaxed and unpretentious, and the views of the mountains and rolling hills are beautiful. Velen offers a nice variety of delicious wines, each with their own story and many produced from estate grown grapes.

Friends took us here because they loved it. My husband & I see why. John the owner is so down to earth & personable. The wines are pretty good too!! If you looking for good wine and great service this is the place.
