Stood there for a few minutes as all the employees stared at me like I had a 3rd eye. No one greeted me. They didn't change their gloves once as they went from touching money, pouring drinks from drive thru and then to bag food. Did an online order and we had to get our drinks. Last time we went it was great. The employees greeted us, had our online order bagged and ready to go. So I guess it depends on which teens they have working.
My family was passing through Algoma and we decided to stop at A&W for a fast meal. Kids got hit dogs and my husband and I got Coney cheese dogs. I was the only one to get onions. We got parked for 10 minutes and then I opened my food to find blue onions - marker from them labeling the containers. This was off putting because there was no reason for marker to be on the food. Went to have it remade but it was too busy and not worth the wait.
Everyone was friendly and my burger was good and u can't go wrong with A&W root bee. It's location right next to a gas station is very handy but u can hear and see what is going on in the gas station part which is a minus.
