Ahnapee Brewery offers a nice ambiance, enhanced by live music performances. The brewery serves a variety of hand-crafted beers in small batches, which come at a premium price. Outdoor picnic tables provide a great venue to enjoy beers with friends.

The tasting room offers nice views through Legion Park to the marina and Lake Michigan beyond. There are several beers on tap as well as in cans, ciders, and soda. The place was lively, not just with locals but also with visitors. There is plenty of seating indoors at the bar or around it, and a patio right outside, also with ample seating. The outdoors is dog friendly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making visitors feel welcome.

The garage doors leading into the bar area are very cool, and there is a large area with picnic tables outside. They have a variety of beers on tap, including wines and ciders, and very friendly staff. Prices are a tad higher than the competition, but still very reasonable, especially for the touristy location.
