Want a great little place for breakfast. Knocked it out of the park. Everything was fantastic!
The food was tasty but the real winner in the bakery attached to it. We have went up there twice and stopped both times.
Friendly service, good food, clean and nice decor. Ordered coffee and half skillet. No complaint, but a suggestion to use less cheese on a half order vs. a full order which made my meal a bit soupy. Still very flavorful. 🌞
We recently stopped here for a quick bite to eat on our way to Door County, WI. The atmosphere is comfortable and had a nautical theme. The service was excellent even though there was only one server. The food was on point, with a very nice size portions. I highly recommend next time you are nearby.
DISAPPOINTED: We had breakfast at the Captain’s Gallery Room on Saturday, November 2. I ordered the “Cruiser” breakfast. My fried eggs were both undercooked and overcooked - runny whites and burnt edges.
The pork fritter was very good. I took a chance ordering this item because when I asked the server to describe the pork fritter, she replied “it’s hard to explain.” To help all you Google Reviewers, the pork fritter is not your usual ball-shaped fritter. It is a flat breaded pork cutlet that is deep fried and then smothered in sausage gravy.
The raisin toast was made from high-quality bread, which I assume was made in their bakery. It would have been delicious if it was served hot – or at least warm – instead of being served cold.
My wife ordered a waffle and pork sausage links. The sausage links were served hot; and were flavorful and delicious.
The waffle that was as thin as a pancake, was soft, gummy and served cold. Upon ordering, my wife told the server that she wanted her waffle hot off the iron, and to serve it to her even if my food was not ready. She asked for her waffle to be re-made. She specifically said that she wanted a waffle that was crispy on the outside with an airy and soft center – the way a good waffle should be made. The second waffle arrived with exactly the same texture as the first one but this one was way overcooked with burnt areas – although it was served hot. She ate one bite and told the server that it was inedible.
And this is why I am writing the negative review. The waffle was on our bill. The same server was checking us out and we reiterated our dissatisfaction with the waffle that my wife did not eat, and asked for it to be removed from our bill. The server went into the kitchen to speak to someone. She returned to tell us that she could not remove the waffle charge from our bill.
Since we often visit a family member in an assisted living facility nearby, I am using this forum to ask for other breakfast restaurants and restaurant suggestions in the vicinity.
Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

Nothing fancy, just a great basic breakfast with great service. Coffee in mugs, omelettes, Benedict, skillets at reasonable prices. A refreshing change from the arugula and salmon benedict type stuff.
