North Water Bakery & Deli is a locally owned bakery and deli. It is considered the best bakery even through the Door County peninsula. The baked goods are outstanding, and the quality is amazing. The donuts and pastry are so fresh, tender, and delicious. The custard is excellent. The cherry pastry is the best, with no artificial cherry flavor. Turnovers are amazing. The glazed croissant is a favorite. The deli sandwiches are decent but nothing special. The breakfast sandwiches are dangerously delicious. The bakery also creates beautiful cakes, including birthday cakes with designs like a butterfly theme, which are delicious and beautifully decorated. For weddings, they offer a small tiered cake and a variety of cupcakes that are an absolute hit. The desserts are beautifully crafted, like works of art. The staff is delightful and shows honesty and care. The service is exceptional. However, some staff can be off-putting and act like they do not want to be there. Overall, it is a must stop for anyone in the area.
