The Saturday evening Prime Rib Special is no longer "special".
With the new management, the largest cut is now at least 25% thinner; the baked potato is round, the size of an oversized ping-pong ball, and the dinner contains no vegetables. Worse still, the price is approximately 33% higher. For that cost, you can go to Gibbs or the Nightengale for a "special" Saturday night date meal. Red's is now just another burger place.

Stopped by on a week night. No wait. Bartender and cook were very friendly. My guess is that it can get pretty busy on the weekends. Food prices are reasonable but drinks are a little steep. Good place overall.

Nice bar and grill right on Lake Michigan. You have a view of the lake from the dining room, or can sit at picnic tables outside. Nice open bar area with dining tables in back. We've only had sandwiches and soups, but they've been great! The staff has always been friendly and efficient. It feels like there is a dedicated locals crowd as well as tourists and those who just happen to pop in because they're hungry and saw good reviews. Those reviews lead to some really good finds, like Red's!

Went the other night with my family, my parents, and my nieces. Food was very good! Service was awesome! The outdoor area is very cool with beautiful views of Lake Michigan. The owner couldn’t have been nicer! Will definitely be back.

We had a great time there. The atmosphere was fantastic with games to play while waiting for our food. It was our 25th anniversary and it has a romantic scene outside overlooking the lake with a beautiful sunset. Food was amazing, my wife had the ahi tuna cooked to perfection and I had a delicious steak sandwich. We would recommend this place to anyone, the service was great as well

This is a place you stop at but never go back to, ordered the perch dinner with a skewer of shrmp the service was good and excellent views of the lake, the quality of food was ok but the portion size was ridiculous I could tell the waitress was even embarrassed, must of heard this alot before I received 3 pieces of perch the size of a chicken tender 3 baby red potatoes the size of a marbles just dropped on my plate no butter, parsley nothing, a tablespoon of coleslaw and a table spoon of pickle relish as starter sauce. The worst fish fry ever put in front of me, THE OWNER SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO HAVE SERVED THIS CULVERS DOES BETTER
