A unique restaurant like the Homestead shouldn't be a secret. I recently stumbled upon information about the place which I had never heard of. We decided to try it out with another couple. It's only a couple years old and is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but when we saw the number of cars in the parking lot, we figured we hit a goldmine. We were so happy to have been told about this place from a local. We came for the Friday Fish Fry and immediately loved the atmosphere. All of the food was great. The old fashions were large and tasty. The 20 year old with us loved the "kiddie cocktail". The outdoor play area looked great for small and middle sized kids. They also had "bags" for the adults

Our first time here and we are so glad we stopped. We love a place that knows what they are good at and sticks to it! My family of 4 all had different items and each one was enjoyed thoroughly! Will definitely return!The only reason for a 4 not 5 star on atmosphere was the noise level but it was a Friday evening so not really unexpected.
