Best Mexican restaurant in the area. REALLY good food. Closest to authentic Mexican we've been able to find.

Parking: Parking lot in back. Can get to lot by either going down road at stop light, or turning in drive on North side of building.

My husband & I normally go to Garibaldi's in New Richmond & have for years. We love it there but decided to try the Garibaldi's in Amery so that we could explore the area after. It was a pretty busy Friday evening with some large parties. That did not bother us. Waiting did not bother us. But the service that we received was very shocking. I ordered a margarita. My husband ordered a mountain dew since he does not drink alcohol. When he ordered the mountain dew the server tried talking him into ordering a tequilla sunrise since that was the special of the night. He said it a couple times & my husband told him he does not drink. It was inappropriate especially if my husband was an alcoholic & the server was trying to talk him into drinking. We ordered the fajitas #44 which has beef, chicken & shrimp. The server told us that we should get #45 because it has 12 peices of shrimp instead of 6, since there were 2 of us. Well when the food came, there was no beef. #45 does not come with beef, it comes with more shrimp which we did not notice when he talked us into getting 45 because there was more shrimp. We didn't necessarily need more shrimp, we like the combination with beef. This was inappropriate since we didn't get what we wanted because of him talking us into changing our minds. When we ordered flour tortillas with our fajitas he said "Typical Americans" & then laughed. After I had one margarita, our server was walking by & did a very dramatic double look & came over & said "Wow, you are thirsty". Not appropriate. Honestly this experience ruined our night out that we were excited to have in Amery. It was not a good experience at all. We are going to keep going where we have for years & know that we are going to have an amazing experience.

I've only eaten here once, but I was so impressed. Started off with chips and salsa at the table, and the salsa was so fresh and delicious. Someone at my table was wondering what tamarind tasted like, and they actually brought her a little sample to try, which was thoughtful of them. I got the homemade Mexican chicken soup which had to be some of the best soup I've ever had. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was great! If I didn't live so far away, I would eat here regularly. All the food that everyone at my table ordered looked incredible!

Food was really good. But, when we visited there seemed to be two new servers training each other as they went. They also seemed a little overwhelmed with the volume of business. Like I said, good food. I would definitely try again if staffing issue is resolved.
