Garibaldi's Mexican Restaurant

My friends and I enjoyed a meal on 11/7. Everyone had a very delicious meal and our server Leo was awesome! You should really put a photo of your carne asada on your FB page…the presentation was spectacular!

My wife and I love it here! Lio is the best waiter and even the older crazy blonde lady is okay when she's not freaking out.

Update to my former review: I was disappointed by the food, this time. It had very little flavor and none of the flavor ws Mexican. There is no hint of cumin, chilli peppers, or lime. I just believe they are trying to go too safe with their flavorings because this town looks predominantly Scandinavian. We are, but we choose Mexican restaurant because prefer Mexican food. I hope they will maybe add a spiciness option to all of their entrees.

My updated review: I ordered an enchilada vegetarianous without any cheese or sour cream. It was pretty good. I liked the vegetables, which were mostly cauliflower and carrots. Enchilada sauce was okay. The black beans look good, and they were kind enough to bring me some shredded lettuce. I like to pour the black beans with shredded lettuce and salsa on top and eat it all together. It was pretty good. I wish the enchilada sauce had a little more spice to it, but that might just be my own preference.

One thing I would love to see is an authentic, but vegan mole sauce or something like an old family recipe from Mexico with a vegan version of the same thing.

Went today for lunch, ordered the Garibaldis burrito con carne. My burrito was awful. The meat in the burrito was burnt to a crisp, veggies inside weren’t sauté and were still crunchy, and just overall taste less. Spoke with a very rude manager who claims that even if the food is bad you’re required to pay for half of the meal per their policy and then threaten to call the cops on my friend and I. The manager never tried to correct the situation or offer a replacement meal to make up for it. Needless to say will not ever be back nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone.

Took over 30 minutes to get food out of kitchen. Kitchen may have been understaffed for 7pm.

Incredible food. Their queso is my favorite of anywhere I've been. We celebrated a birthday there and they sang and brought out a fun hat and fried ice cream. Just an overall wonderful experience. We try to come back anytime we're in the area.
