“I LOVE this restaurant. Since the very beginning, their service has been/is excellent. Quick and friendly. Even the owners are very sociable and mix with the customers, yet they are willing to "serve" a cup of coffee. Menu is great, portions big (enough for take-home). Good food. My husband and I come here at LEAST once a week. Of course, we have our favorites on the menu. But there are wonderful other selections. And the feature specials are so tempting. It's our "go-to" for bringing our friends or family together, when we need more space than we have at home. A place to get a home-cooked meal... away from home.”

“We visited last night, which was a pretty busy Friday night. Your bartenders were by far working their tails off! They were on top of everything and so friendly. Our food was top notch (recommend the steak sandwich and corn nuggets!) and came out fairly quick for how busy they were. That kitchen staff was on point! Thanks for the great night!”

“Food has always been really good and diverse from other offerings in town! It’s such a beautiful space. Service started off rocky first few visits but seems to have improved a lot since we’ve been in more recently. Went in for breakfast & catching up on some emails one day and they said they don’t have free WiFi/won’t give out the network password. Seemed a little odd but I was able to use my hotspot instead. Something to consider- it would be nice to offer that to people wanting to do work lunches, etc there for the future. I hope they continue to grow and succeed as they do have good food!”

“Birch Street Bar is a great place to meet up with friends. You will be met and greeted by experienced bartenders. Entertainment is available with jukebox, pool tables and games. Space is available for your own private party or special event.”

“We have lived down the street for 60 years. This is BY FAR the best bar/restaurant ever on Lake Wapo. Food is great, prices are great, service is great, atmosphere is great, owners are great!

What wonderful neighbors as well! The recent remodel to have the lakeside patio into the restaurant has been awesome. The live music on the weekend has been a joy to listen to, even off my dock!

“we used to think their food was pretty good, been here numerous times. We ordered last night, and were very very disappointed. The pork fried rice tasted old, it was horrible! The beef lo mein, was very dry. Also, the shrimp egg fu yon tasted old as well. We also had wontons and chicken sticks, which we Okay. Spending almost $50, it should have been alot better, I'll take my business elsewhere. When calling in an order, they always say it'll be done in "10 minute", makes me wonder how old the food really is.”

“Service is average/low. Only one person who attended bar. Needed to go to it to place order/get refill. Maybe when busier it may have more ppl. If not, this would be one star for service.

Ordered burger with cheeze. Came with american/velveeta cheeze which is WAY WAY salty. If you need to cut salt, do not order anything with orange cheeze. Burger was well done but moist. Places like this do not take order to cookness. Ground beef is always well done sadly. Does not come with lettuce or mayo. The saltiness of burger almost made food to a one star but my fault for not knowing amarican cheeze was used.

Lemonade was bottled and not tap which is good.

Cheeze curds were done well.

Place is one room with high ceiling so could hear everyones convo. Plenty of parking even if busy I suspect.

Be careful of wild bear next to front door. Its in a case but that glass seems thin. Don't tap on glass.

The pizza-beautifully made and cooked! the crisp crust and bold flavors of the pies made us smile. The cheese was perfect and golden. Thank you Amery Pizza Man for another top-notch meal. we will be back 😀.”
