“This place was a GREAT FIND!! Thank you, Yelp! Me and my guy each had the Prime Rib Sandwich. Out of habit I asked for horseradish sauce. No need!! As my guy said, this Prime Rib Sandwich is like Christmas in your mouth!! It is to die for!! Wowza!! We also had the Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese dip. So amazing we ordered a second!! And for you nondrinkers, they serve Root Beer from a tap which was oh so good!! PY's, we will definitely be back!!!”

“We went to Cabin Break Room tonight because it was mentioned at least 3 times in the Best of...Edition of the Amery Free Press. We checked it out. Very much enjoyed it! Both my husband and I had the Electrician and the Tater Kegs...got the side of Chipotle and the Cilantro Lime for dipping sauces. Loved our server from the start. We had no leftovers. Also, seeing a group of high schoolers playing pool, enjoying each other's company, and enjoying food, as well, was a high point. Fun place! And really good food!”

“Excellent food, homemade bbq sauce was amazing! When we asked for recommendations and the bartender suggested the special and the "bourbon sauced anything, I was all in! Rob had pulled pork lunch special sandwich and I had to Bourbon Cheese Steak sandwich. Both were to die for! And that sauce... take your pick bbq or bourbon. I could drink them! We will return and the service was exceptional as well.”

“I think old ellie would be appalled at the prices, it is ice cream right? As in milk and sugar... Yes ice cream should not be so much, I know, everything is but it's a snack! A treat. Maybe it's me. It is good ice cream but not at the price of a gallon of ice cream from down the street..Parking: It is ideal to find a spot on main Street, if not parking lot is in the back of the building. Go east on Birch Street and take the first left.”

“Beautiful little barn that has been converted into a restaurant on the lower level with a large outdoor patio. In the summer and fall months it’s dog friendly and there are large heaters and a fire pit for chilly nights. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hard cider made from the local orchard is delish!Parking: It’s down a long driveway. You park behind the bar at the top of the hill. Walk down the hill toward the silo and enter on the lower side of the building.”

“Ordered a hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy.The only real complaint is that the gravy was not roast beef flavored. I have no clue what it was supposed to taste like.Had 3 servers, wasn't sure who I was supposed to talk to.”

“Stopped in for a beer and to see what the Cosgroves have done with this 50’s bar…Very clean with a “Cozzies vibe” the outdoor space looks great for warmer weather.Typical small town Dive complete with locals and a dog.The food is limited to pizza as there is no kitchen.Friendly cute bartenders!Great stop for a motorcycle run as there is ample parking and a large outdoor space.”

“FIRST OFF, BEFORE I START SAYING ANYTHING. PATRICK IS AN ABSOLUTE SAINT AND AMAZING INDIVIDUAL. So me and my girl were feeling some rustic Italian food when we stumbled onto tavernas. At first glance I thought it would be your typical Italian restaurant but oh boy was I sorely mistaken. From customer service to quality of food I guarantee this place will blow your expectations out of the park. The ambiance with accompaniment of scents that make you feel like you're getting wine and dined in the back alley of Italy's finest restaurant is just the beginning of the amazing dining experience that taverna provides. “Well worth the 103 mile round trip dinner cruise on a Wednesday evening. Had the same sake burger, Big Papa Burger. Good flavor, hot and fresh burger with crispy fresh fries.”

“Was ice fishing over on north twin and decided to grab some food from here, and boy we were not disappointed. $62 seemed steep but we got so much food, enough to feed us 3 nights. Almost everything was delicious, especially the Mongolian beef. If the meat to veggie ratio was a little better it would've gotten 5 stars. Also the triple pineapple was a little disappointing just because it was lacking some flavor, maybe more pineapple would've changed that. Overall was very impressed! China garden will definitely be our regular spot when we come back up!”

“My food experiences have not been great. I like a pink burger but it was raw, chicken strips were pink inside, the Ruben was the worst. Three pieces of cornbeef the size of my thumbnail. We did get that meal taken off the bill. We really like the place but really needs to focus on hiring a experienced cook. Nice bartender and waitress. We will for sure be back. We like the place.”

“Amazing experience from start to finish. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waitress made some great recommendations for us to order. The Friday fish was great! Sweet potato fries with bloomer dipping sauce are great. The salad you get with your meal is almost a meal in itself. One at the table had a calzone that was large. It was filled full with goodness. He was very happy with his choice. The seafood salad was also ordered by one at our table and I couldn’t believe how much you get with that. This place literally makes sure when you leave you are full and happy. The brandy old fashions are great, I highly recommend having one. Definitely check this place out you won’t be disappointed!”

“Great experience from start to finish. Wasn’t sure how to handle ordering for a large group and made the phone call to see. They were very helpful and friendly over the phone and said it was best to do an order online. I placed the order and got emails that the order was confirmed and would be ready by stated time. Picked up the pizza and waited 5 minutes while they finished cutting up the pizza. They helped carry out the pizzas and were very nice. I personally didn’t have any of the pizzas as it was for our boys hockey team. Nothing but rave reviews from coaches and players on the pizza. They were extremely happy with the pizza. I know that if we’re up in Amery playing hockey or just up there again we will be getting pizza from here! Thanks for being awesome!!”
