“After a few beers at Central Waters yesterday, we headed over to Smokey's for the Friday Fish Fry. We both had the fish and shrimp combo. It came with a choice of potato which included fries, garlic parmesan potatoes, baked potato etc. Also AYCE soup, the seafood chowder was the best I've had in WI, a slice of bread, cole slaw and baked beans. Everything was delicious but the shrimp were exceptional, perfectly cooked and plump. The prices are very reasonable for the food quality and service. The only suggestion I would make would be to offer a better quality beer on tap, maybe something from Central Waters?“
“We’ve always been to Ambrosias for fish fries and pizza and a great steak Christmas party for my husbands company. It’s better than ever. Always the same friendly faces and honest caring service for the best night out. Tonight for my bday we did the Sunday special finally! Then they brought me a stacked cupcake to die for and sang. Enjoy the picks! Totally recommend the broasted chicken any day and am going back for the gyros!!!“
“Man. Let me tell you about this place. When I walked into this bar I knew right away this was a place for real Americans. All across the dance floor there were girls wearing Chevy T-shirts, singing BackStreet boys and kissing each other while their boyfriends were watching them and talking about Duramaxes and their Uncles Camaros.“
“The food and serivce were good. They had a large outdoor seating area and big booths and tables inside.I ordered the regular Mac n cheese, but asked for fried onions on it and that was definitely a game changer. The mack would have been fine by itself, but I probably wouldn't order it again. With the fried onions it was wonderful! Big serving.The fries were also crisp to perfection and not too salty.I also got their mapel old fashioned, which was good but a little too sweet. A drinks were a little expensive, but overall would come again.Parking: A large lot, but no lines.“
“Our radiator blew right next to the Hideout II. Cannot say enough about the helpful patrons and bartender. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance from flashlights, rides to our B&B and a safe place to keep the car overnight until a tow truck came next morning. Couldn't have been more blessed by these people! A happy side note, their homemade pizza was delicious! We plan on going back up in the future, stopping in and buying a round for these wonderful people!“
