Timber Haven is a great spot in Antigo! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious (especially the fish fry!), and the atmosphere is welcoming. With a full menu and daily specials, it's the perfect place to gather with friends for a good time.

Terribly slow service, sloppy greasy food, and crazy prices for deep-fried frozen fish. Waste of time and money. This restaurant is a great example of why franchises took over lazy small businesses. Timber Haven gets worse every year. Culvers is a better, friendly option.

This place is always unable to accommodate larger parties. We try to support local business as we are local. However, it is very difficult to do so when we are told “no, we can NOT accommodate a party of 10” as soon as we walked in. We would’ve been fine with sitting, drinking, and waiting. The older lady at the bar is very unpleasant with zero hospitality. Bigger parties, please go support other local businesses!

we called and made a reservation of 14 people. the service was HORRIBLE. we got our drinks. including giving a 5 yr old an adult fountain drink and not a kids drink. we ordered our food and waited OVER AN HOUR to get it. yet other big tables that came in after us got our food ate and left before we even received our food. when our food came the waitress walked away and we needed to as a DOFFERENT waitress for the rest of the food to be served since the youngest one with use did not receive it yet. never once did we get asked how it was or if we needed refills nothing. all we got was fish frys and 1 steak. nothing extravagant. the steak was way over cooked. we needed to track down the waitress to even pay so we could leave after being there for 2 hours already! then all she said was sorry we had other large tables too. took 25 percent off the steak dinner. we didn't see the amount of the bill until AFTER the card was ran and they automatically put a tip of 20% on it! this was all last night February 16th. that waitress did not deserve a 43 dollar tip for the extreme poor service we were given from her. let alone putting it on the bill with out saying anything or even telling us the total before running the card! worst service I have EVER received. none of us will be back.
