“We went for dinner Saturday night and wow, the best service I have ever had at a restaurant! Chips and salsa at the table within seconds of sitting down food out very quickly and staff walking around constantly and very attentive to every table. Every worker had eyes on every table to make sure nothing was missed. Highly highly recommend! Oh, and of course food was excellent as always!!”

“Found this little, vintage gem on Yelp. In all of our 40+ years of coming up to the Northwoods as adults, we never had heard of this diner and yet it has been around since 1945 and claims to be the oldest family-run diner/cafe in Wisconsin. Once I read the history of Dixie Lunch I knew we needed to be part of the history too! It is a no frills diner but don’t let the lack of modern and new prevent you from checking out this downtown Antigo staple. The specials will draw you in and the classics will keep you coming back. My husband ordered the Tuesday Special of Jaeger Schnitzel w/mashed potatoes & gravy and red cabbage. He said it was some of the best he had ever tasted. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and homemade fries. It was delicious! Bacon was a little thicker than most other establishments use and it was crispy, just like I like it. The burger was juicy and the combination made it one of the best I have had in a long time. We finished our lunch off by sharing a slice of homemade lemon meringue pie…oh my goodness…YUM!!! We will be back!”

“Our first visit here. Hubby asked if I wanted to eat inside instead of the drive thru. I hesitated but said yes, I was worried that I’d see conditions that would question our choice—as with many of the other fast food establishments here. The Antigo Dairy Queen is wonderful!! So clean, staff was pleasant and professional, the food was hot and fresh, the dining room was even decorated very well for autumn. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!”

“We love this place! We stopped for the first time today. The coffee was exceptional (some of the best lattes we’ve ever had; recommend a s’mores latte and a toffee nut mocha). We tried the chipotle chicken sandwich, and it was incredible! The aesthetic of the cafe was very cute, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The cafe also had gluten free, dairy free, and organic options, which was great to see. Plus, the business is Christian which is awesome. It’s a new favorite, and I will be back!☕️”

“Would highly recommend. My first time ordering coffee grounds from them and the coffee is delicious. I asked for half-caff course ground for my French press and it’s amazing. I’ll definitely come back for more. Their banana nut muffin was delicious too.”

“I've been to the bar a few times now and it's somewhere that my family growing up went to and friends still go but I can't say I've been there enough to rate who works there and there services but the few times I've gone I've enjoyed there pool table and dart board and other games pretty sure they still have the pull tabs and they have a nice smoking room in back I'd go again most definitely”

“You do realize that it’s still the same owners who own it right? They haven’t changed or sold it yet. Plus they’re getting up in age, can’t keep up with all the other orders they get. They had that new rule in place since of summer of 2023. That way all their customers can be able to their products. No need to bash someone online because you got told no. Chill out. Peace ✌️”

“normally this place is really good but tonight we had a waitress that didn't listen and brought out the wrong coffee so we had to correct that then we ordered an omelette without ham and she brought one with ham and when we told her she made a face didn't offer to correct it and went to counter and was talking about us to other waitress. we didn't have good service tonight at all. and the strawberries on our waffles were rotten and the walls was raw it's a lot of money to pay for food we can't eat. I'm usually a huge tipper but tonight the tip I have is do better. Huge disappointment and unfriendly waitresses”

“2/3:00 is a great time to go! Hot food, not too busy, and the lunch/dinner switch happens during that time as well :) so you kind of get the best of both for the better price. Friendly employees always, which is a rare occurrence these days! The food selection is great, and there are plenty of kid friendly choices!

Kid-friendliness: High chairs, food options... Only complaint is the size of silverware ... We have learned to bring our toddlers own cup with a straw and her own little utensils!”

“I've been meaning to write this review because the experience I had at the Antigo Burger King the day of the 29th has lived rent free in my head. I have never had such excellent service from a Burger King before! And I have to give credit to the employee who served us that day. I believe her name was Evey and her service was beyond amazing. She really made the day for us with her smile and attitude. Someone give Evey a pat on the back, she deserves it!”

“When I go to Antigo this is a number one stop along with the state of Wisconsins Best sausage shop right around the corner on highway 64 the staff is always friendly at Taco John's and good hot and fresh food. It's the only taco John's in the state of Wisconsin that I go to because I know it's always going to be good. I drive from Shawano and this is one of my stops in Antigo. Thank you.”
