“I very seldom give anyone a negative review. Been there a few times and the staff is extremely rude. Easily the worst service my family has probably ever had. Only 1/2 the order was correct (we didn't even tell them after experiencing such rude service by our waiter Timo. He rolled his eyes every time we asked for anything) - very disappointing service and food. My mom asked for silverware 3x and finally my husband went and got it for her.“

“Found this little, vintage gem on Yelp. In all of our 40+ years of coming up to the Northwoods as adults, we never had heard of this diner and yet it has been around since 1945 and claims to be the oldest family-run diner/cafe in Wisconsin. Once I read the history of Dixie Lunch I knew we needed to be part of the history too! It is a no frills diner but don’t let the lack of modern and new prevent you from checking out this downtown Antigo staple. The specials will draw you in and the classics will keep you coming back. My husband ordered the Tuesday Special of Jaeger Schnitzel w/mashed potatoes & gravy and red cabbage. He said it was some of the best he had ever tasted. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and homemade fries. It was delicious! Bacon was a little thicker than most other establishments use and it was crispy, just like I like it. The burger was juicy and the combination made it one of the best I have had in a long time. We finished our lunch off by sharing a slice of homemade lemon meringue pie…oh my goodness…YUM!!! We will be back!“

“1st time here looking for a new to me lunch spot. I hit solid gold. the philly cheese melt sandwich made with shaved prime rib was fantastic. Very friendly staff which is a rarity now a days. I'll definitely be back on a Saturday night for their Gorgonzola smoked tenderloin.“
