“This is a hidden gem in Rhinelander. I am so thankful it exists here! After moving here from a big city, I missed real, authentic, Thai and Indian food. I ordered the special of the day 'green chicken curry', it was excellent!!! Absolutely 5 stars! My husband got a Salmon Poke bowl and loved it. My 10-year-old got a Mediterranean Panini and loved it, my 6-year-old got a bacon grilled cheese (from the kids menu) and loved it, and my baby, who turned one this day got a veggie, pablano, quinoa soup and she ate most of it (it was excellent).“

“Nice staff good food a+ i though the menu was so different and the burgers sounded great and the pozzas sou ded great and the fish fry sounded great. Everything sounded great lol. The bartender was awesome and she was working alone and kicking butt. And stayed friendly the entire time. I ended up getting the fish and a pizza and boy was I happy with my choice. I will come again to this awesome bat in the backwoods of rhinelander. Trust me this place is good. The fish was decent but the pizza was the real star of the show I ate most of it and only brought some home to have something g to look forward to the next day. I brought my friend out here and she loved it as much as I do. Next time I go I'm getting a burger cuz those looked sooooooo so so so good. Thanks Birchwood for keeping the northwoods at your place. We love you and will continue to come there because you are waaaay way above any competitor in the area.. a freaking plus!!“

“My husbandI w loves pasties, so I told him I would buy him lunch. We got served immediately despite the customer in front of us picking up 38 pasties! Ordered the Cornish Pasty, which he loved. It was full of potatoes, rutabagas & meat. One of thebest pasties he has ever had!“

“Kind of an interesting location. So it's called Rhinelander Brewing, but the beer they make is Hodag, the Rhinelander name is owned by Minhas, but there is some sort of arrangement with Minhas to use the name, and sell both Hodag and Rhinelander beer side by side. I had some of both, and had a good time. will be back next time I'm in town.“

“I used to love Casa but , they charged me separately for chips when i ordered 3 large dips. I ordered 3 large dips to go and was only given one tiny bag of chips with that much dip. I asked for more chips, they said they hard to charge me, I said okay, and I was charged $13 for more chips. So for 3 dips and chips, I paid $45. I reached out to the owner and they confirmed that this is correct. I get that food prices have increased, but that's insane to charge separately for the chips when you order dip! Taking my business elsewhere.“

“Have never had a dish that I did not love there, and I have eaten authentic Chinese food in the People's Republic of China. So delicious and inexpensive. Very highly recommend! Staff are delightful and efficient.Parking: There are a few parking spaces directly in front of restaurant. I think they should all be labeled for disabled customers. Otherwise you have to drive down and back of the restaurant and climb up or down a very long and steep stairs. It gets to be quite a challenge for older and disabled customers.“

“Every detail about this place is five stars. We love the service and the food. The pricing is the best I've seen in a long time. We were getting tired of paying $30 for breakfast for two people at the competitors places. The friendship house is our new go to place! Keep up the good work!“

“Now I had good service, and a good fish fry, now it was very busy, and like every were, short staffed, need to get rid of the pool table and put in more tables, as people were leaving do to standing and waiting, but a must stop if your near Rhinelander for food,“

“Upon entry the lady at the front counter was arguing with another customer who wanted a different cup. Then with no hello or any pleasantries she abruptly saw us through.The pizza is alright but nothing spectacular. All the regular fairs as well as a decent selection of more peculiar combinations. Buffalo chicken or margarita.The deserts hit good. Both the kids enjoyed the cookie with the soft serve ice cream.The staff cleaning up inside did a good job as well as the kitchen crew keeping the buffet stocked. But lady at front desk counter left the experience with something to be desired.“
