“Nice cozy diner. The climate was neither hot or cold. I went around 1 pm on a Tuesday and it was not busy. It was a seat yourself and I found all the tables AND the chairs to be clean. The booths that I saw didn't have rips or cracks in the vinyl. There is a bar like seating up at the front if you are eating solo. They did their best to maximize their seating.I ordered, wonton mozzarella sticks, hamburger, fries and raspberry dream pound cake. The mozzarella sticks were fresh and hot. They were pretty pick and after eating three, I wondered if I was going to be able to finish my meal. They tasted great, however I cut my lip on the wonton that wrapped around the mozzarella. The hamburger was pretty tasty. I liked that they toasted the bun and added that extra crunch. The tomato was pretty thick so it was hard to keep the burger together and made it a bit messier but, I would order another one in a heartbeat. The fries were nothing to write home about. Basic fries. I didn't taste any type of seasoning. The dessert, I was told, was homemade. It was a raspberry pound cake. There was some kind of fluffy stuff in the middle that was also raspberry flavored. It had a white frosting. I felt it was pretty tasty as well. The raspberry fluff did cause the cake to be a bit soggy but it wasn't to bad. It looked like I had the second to the last piece, so that would explain the soggy part. The waitress I had was super friendly and checked on me often. This was my first time but I would defiantly go again, just to have another burger or to try something new. What I didn't care for:Breakfast wasn't served all day.Found 1 short black hair in my french fries.Debit/Credit card are not accepted, however they have an ATM inside,”
“The best Al Pastor ever! Reasonable prices and excellent food and service. Hard to beat. This was my first visit after mixed reviews. I’m sorry that I waited this long to visit.Wheelchair accessibility: No doors in this mall open remotely. Very difficult for a person with a walker.”
“Decided to try the Rhinelander Family Restaurant while in the area today. It did not disappoint! The place itself has a cute, comfy, family theme to it. The service was excellent. We got seated right away and the waitress was already taking our order shortly after we were seated. It was pretty busy so we were expecting some waiting time but the staff was on the ball. They do have a large menu. We did go for breakfast and there were so many options for breakfast. We both got omelettes and they were literally on the table like 10 minutes later. We couldn't believe it! And talk about delicious! They were so filling and yummy. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend giving this place a try! It won't disappoint!”
“This is a hidden gem in Rhinelander. I am so thankful it exists here! After moving here from a big city, I missed real, authentic, Thai and Indian food. I ordered the special of the day 'green chicken curry', it was excellent!!! Absolutely 5 stars! My husband got a Salmon Poke bowl and loved it. My 10-year-old got a Mediterranean Panini and loved it, my 6-year-old got a bacon grilled cheese (from the kids menu) and loved it, and my baby, who turned one this day got a veggie, pablano, quinoa soup and she ate most of it (it was excellent).”
“Under new ownership and in my opinion is doing a great job . There is a large group of repeat customers which says a lot about the service the food and the atmosphere. very welcoming lots of activities going on great views of lake ”
“Awesome food!!!! Great atmosphere!! Great prices!!!Just wish was open mon and / or Tues! But understandable! Will be back every chance i get!!!A hidden hodag gem!!”
“Went in for a drink and ended up landing on the the fish fry. Bartenders were prompt and food was great!. Favorite part of the fish/perch was it was not over breaded.”
“I hadn’t been out to this establishment since the early 2000s when I used to snowmobile there (Lake George Resort). The fish fry was surprisingly very good (one of the better ones locally) and the young lady who served us was engaging and polite. However, the interaction we had with the owner (??) when we first entered the bar was a little odd and felt slightly xenophobic and unwelcoming. Overall though, a decent experience.”
“This is my place for perch. Good sized filets with light breading. It's not fancy. It's good. If you want fancy keep driving but it won't be good.Kid-friendliness: There's always kids there. I hear they make a mean kiddie cocktail.”
“Love the atmosphere! Excellent service! Requested the owner play a special song for a date night out with my wife and they were very accommodating! Thanks for making it a memorable night out!”
“This was an awesome find! The Pizza was outstanding and the drinks were mixed well by Jim! Great conversation at the bar as well--very welcoming and friendly atmosphere.”
“Such a fun experience. Can't wait to go back again! The taste, half glass and full glass options led me to try wines I wouldn't have normally ordered, and I liked one I never would've tried otherwise! It was a really nice place to try!”
“My wife and I went for dinner to celebrate our twelve year anniversary. The inside was beautiful and peaceful. Our server did an amazing job all night. The food was some of the best we've had in a long time. I ordered lamb and received risotto as a side and I've been craving it since. All around amazing. I can't wait to go back.”
“It's a decent spot in town, can get your food either cold or cooked, i got a taco pizza, and a sub sandwich, both were good. nothing too mind blowing. staff seems a bit burnt out.”
“Great fish fry. All our food was wonderful. Mike and Brandi’s service was exceptional. Made my grand children feel welcome And a good time was had by all. Thank you guysBe back ”
