“This is one of the only restaurants I give a straight 5 stars. Ribeye was outstanding and done to perfection. All the staff were so caring and very professional from the bar-back to the waitress. It was a VERY busy night but our group of 20 was always taken care of promptly. Finally I'll say the Chef is an ARTIST in the kitchen!“

“On a very busy day the staff did an amazing job! Everyone was very friendly, attentive and worked their butts off! Games for the kids, great musician playing, food ready quickly, bartender was amazing! We drove 40 minutes just to come here, no regrets. Highly recommend Birchwood for anyone looking for a wonderful Northwoods bar/restaurant. One of my favorites!“

“Can not say enough good things about this place. It was me and a group of 6 teenage girls and we were hungry,it was getting late, had no idea where to eat, and they were so accommodating on getting tables together, helping us out with menu items, and just being awesome. “My husband and I were there last night. The people were terrific. The cook was terrific. Very yummy food. I had the baked haddock and they put cajun spice on it. Sweet Potato fries yum. Salad. Started with wine. But they wanted to try a new drink that when done looked like the ocean. It was really good. AND GREAT VIEW of the lake. Nice way to end the week!“

“We were staying next door at family cabin and decided to have supper at Fisher's Wednesday evening. Wednesday nights is all you can eat wings. They do a great job with this. The wings are large and very meaty, multiple sauce options as well. A definite hit.“

“We'd been looking forward to trying their Italian Night on Wednesday and we were NOT disappointed!! The lasagna was fantastic! We also had the Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer and I could've made a meal out of just those! The ambience is classy and the restrooms are clean (that tells me alot about a place). The wait-staff was friendly and attentive. Well done! We will be back!!“

“It's been awh3ile since we last ate here because we didn't think the food was all that good. We went back last week and was pleasantly surprised. The steak actually had some flavor. The potatoes weren't overcooked. All the food was hot and the drinks were cold. It was a pretty busy place. We didn't have reservations but were seated. By the time we finished eating, the place was full.“

“We travel all over the United States and feel that the tacos at Pat’s Tavern in Rhinelander are the best we’ve ever had. We are from Florida and will go out of our way to stop there on Taco Wednesday if we are anywhere close to Rhinelander. Great atmosphere, friendly people, and tacos are so worth the drive. It’s definitely a 5.0! Yum!“

“First visit was there tonight. Kenny is the owner and a great conversationalist. Quality bar food at an unbelievably low price. $6 for a 1/2 lb cheeseburger....I kid you not. Had a great time visiting with everyone. Long time family owned business.“
