“We were greeted with a smile and immediate beverage service. We had lunch today consisting of their specialty salad with cranberries, Asiago, and salmon; fish taco special with cheese curds, and Rueben sandwich. I highly recommend Ruby Mays for their unique menu, friendly atmosphere, and great staff.“
“We had heard about their specials on Mondays. Since most of other places are closed Mondays we have them a try. It was a $5 pizza any toppings you wanted or $2 hamburger with each topping at extra cost. We got the pizza, thin crust well done and good tasting. We'll be back again.“
“First time up in the north woods and I cannot wait to go back! I had an amazing sweet old fashioned, The Stack sandwich, perfect fried mushrooms, hand cut fries, and a bite of the steak sandwich. “Exceptional food… worth the wait! If you’re in the north woods… this is a very typical “ up north” pub from the appearance…. Service was admittedly slightly slower than we would have like …. However, we did have drinks and attentiveness to the need for more… the food took a bit to be delivered… but it was exceptional!!!! Recommend checking them out!!!“

The owner was tending bar very friendly and welcomes you with a smile told us about the specials and answered all the questions about the menu and don't forget about dessert 3 kinds of cheesecake all 4 of us enjoyed our food the chicken soup was delicious will go back soon“
“Called in an order went to pick it up and waited for 30 minutes just for the bartender to say “ we’ll it’s been sitting here for 30 minutes “ lettuce was rotten , chicken was soggy. That’s one of many bad experiences. Unless they like you personally … you probably won’t be treated well or even served in a timely manner.“
