“2 hungry kids in the backseat and driving home I asked the wife to look for a crowded parking lot in one of the towns we were heading home after another great family vacation in the Northwoods. We spied this place and pulled in. My grumpy daughter was not impressed and gave it 2 stars . We walked in and it's an amazing space. The staff were amazing and knew everything. I had 2 eggs, hashbowns, and a English muffin the size of my hand with prime rib for $12.95. My neice had chili and looked to me that prime rib was in their. A woman actually also paid for our breakfast as a act of random kindness and we passed it along to the next customer but I've never had that happen before! It's quite close to the casino and I'll be back on my way to our family cabin and again when I leave it. Btw, grumpy daughter gave it 9 stars afterward.“

We were with my son Tom who had a gun raffle. Talk about amazing! We helped out a little bit and spent week end in Wabeno with family! Plus went ice fishing!“

“A gem found in the small town of Moutain, WI. I would recommend this place for a bar rather than a place to eat. The kitchen is small and limited menu - flat top cooker and microwaved options - no fried foods. Frozen pizza cooked in tabletop pizza ovens.We really enjoyed the atmosphere and all of the decor, which made up for the food.“

“I love coming here! Busy but not ever packed for a 2hr plus wait that I’ve ever had. Owner,bartenders, and waitresses do a fantastic job. I had the 8oz tenderloin and it cut like butter! Should have a taken a pic prior to eating it but couldn’t wait . Had a side of hot tortellini which I thought was a nice change. Cozy quiet dining room and that rustic feel. It’s like a hidden gem.“

“The food is amazing. They are in a great location, halfway between Mountain and Lakewood. Our waitress was suburb, the plsce was full, every table taken, yet she managed to make us feel like there was only a few of us there. The food was hot and brought out in a timely manner. We will continue to make this a mainstay of eatery's.“

“Outstanding food and service and another mandatory visit when we're atv'ing. Kelly is always super friendly and quick with the service and its honestly my favorite place to eat when I'm up north. The Lunker is a standout and hits the spot everytime and the cheeses curds are some of the best I've had. Don't sleep on this place, get you a Lunker burger and thank me later“
