“While we’ve been to Billy Bob’s many times (and loved their food — especially their burgers and FRIES are phenomenal!!) we were particularly blown away by one server’s exceptional service last night … her name is Cat 👏👏👏 Not only was she beyond accommodating, letting us change from an outside table to inside as it was cooling off, but we noted EACH TIME she checked on us — our food, etc. — it was HER thanking US. 😳 I was particularly proud — though not surprised — to find without my knowing prior, she is the daughter of a good friend of mine (Gregg), who owns a different local mainstay, Cockatiel’s Bar, also in Tomahawk. Be sure to check out both places, especially Harley Weekend, aka “Fall Ride,” and ask for them by name. GREAT customer service deserves to be shared!”

“Last night was my first time there. Went for our anniversary dinner. Prime rib was great but the garlic butter shrimp was Amazing!! That was the best shrimp we have ever had. Staff was very friendly. Clean and inviting. Will definitely go back. This may be our new anniversary dinner place.”

“Just updated their menu, great food hand-made to order not prepackaged, not burger "patties". The clam chowder is EXCELLENT. I haven't had a bad fish meal yet. Excellent flavor on each. Just tried the BBQ Bourbon Maple burger with sweet potato fries most recently - YUM! Due to the size of the place and the kitchen you WILL have a long wait on a Friday and sometimes a Saturday. Either be patient and expect it or go another night. They are one of the rare area places open on Monday night. Thursdays and Sundays are also great nights to go without a wait. Every place is packed on Friday around here and most cannot get the staff, space or kitchen capacity to meet it so don't complain or say you weren't expecting a wait that day. Glad to have this place reopened and offering some excellent seafood you can't find anywhere else.”

“We have always had a great experience at pickles! Everyone friendly and great service let alone the great Food! This last time we went in January or February what a great time we were the only ones in the dining room with another table some snowmobilers playing some cards, drinking eating, and one of the awesome bartenders, sat down at their table, played a game of cards with them and kept making sure I had a drink that I liked and in hand and offering different ideas. He sure was fun!! AND our waitress on the otherr hand, even though she was running around like crazy — she was super attentive And friendly, she made us laugh for sure!! We will always go back!!”

“Got to town after a long flight, this was the first place I went. This juicy burger was a magnificent start to a much needed vacation. It was locally sourced butcher meat cooked to a perfect medium rare, the perfect burger. Toasted bun, hot fries, at my table minutes after I ordered.

Wonderful atmosphere, the regulars and staff interacted with each other like a family, and I got to join it for about an hour on a Saturday. I’ll be here again on my way out of town, highly recommended.”
