“Walked in & Anna the bartender was phenomenal from the gate. Very personable & very in tune with all the patrons. Up beat & smiles. Gave us menues, we ordered, gave us sample of chili. The bomb. Food non of us we the least bit displeased. All of our food & drinks rocked solid yum!! Kudos to the cook & Anna for the great experience!!! We'll be coming & you all should stop!!”

“We have always had a great experience at pickles! Everyone friendly and great service let alone the great Food! This last time we went in January or February what a great time we were the only ones in the dining room with another table some snowmobilers playing some cards, drinking eating, and one of the awesome bartenders, sat down at their table, played a game of cards with them and kept making sure I had a drink that I liked and in hand and offering different ideas. He sure was fun!! AND our waitress on the otherr hand, even though she was running around like crazy — she was super attentive And friendly, she made us laugh for sure!! We will always go back!!”

“Pizza pick up only. My order is always ready for pickup, lover their system of 'shelving' ready orders on wall when walking in. LOVE the original crust pizzas. My favorite pizza is the COWBOY. Great pizza, great service and you don't have to take a loan out for a ex-large pizza!”

“There’s places that call themselves breweries and then there’s Rocky Reef who is truly dedicated to the craft of brewing. Situated in a perfect area right off of Highway 51 in Woodruff. I would recommend taking large groups of families or even visiting as a solo patron. This is some of the best beer you will find in Wisconsin let alone in the Northwoods. I would not only center my trip on this location. I would make sure I visit many of my friends from around the area at Rocky Reef. My favorite beers were the black lager and all their IPAs.”

“I absolutely love this place. There has been nothing that I have ordered that hasn't been excellent. Today I ordered Salmon with Curry sauce and rice. I can't think of the name of the dish, but man is it good. Their Thai Tea is great as well. If you haven't been, please go there and try it out. Everything is so fresh and fabulous.”

“The workers today (7/25/2026) were finaminal and thats an understatement!! The amount of positive vibes just walking through the door, my son played with one of the workers daughter while my mom and I ordered and he gave him a few suckers for being nice ans playing with her. “I've been a loyal customer of Holiday Cafe since they moved to Woodruff from Hazelhurts and I've never had a bad meal or any kind of dust up with the staff. Wonderful people and the food is very very good. Their Friday night fish fry is outstanding, their perch dinner is worth the wait on a Friday night.”

“spending Spring break in Minocqua with family. Tried a new to us Pizza place. if you have not tried Minocqua Pizza you have got to give it a try. I must say one of the best pizza's🍕 I have had. We tried the Mac and ches, chicken bacon ranch, BLT and an order of Billy bread. The whole family was unanimous, great pizza. we will definitely be back.”
