“Wonderful relaxing venue. Service was courteous, fast and friendly. Our waiter answered all our questions professionally. Food was fresh and DELICIOUS!! We celebrated a family birthday and she got a yummy piece of cheesecake! The cheese curds, pretzel, blackberry salad, mac and cheese, elk burgers and beer cheese burgers were all fantastic. “We had a great experience at Sam’s Pizza! We ordered a classic cheese pizza along with a cauliflower crust topped with sausage and Canadian bacon. The Canadian bacon was especially good, and the cauliflower crust was surprisingly delicious—great flavor and texture.
We also started with Caesar salads, which were very tasty and a perfect way to kick off the meal.
Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by Sam’s Pizza! 🍕“

“Second time here and would come again for sure. The mushroom tartine is a must. Most if not all ingredients are locally sourced and they tell you where they come from on the menu. The wood fire pizzas are amazing and this time I tried the veggie Rueben burger which was house made from sweet potato and beet. And a side of kimchi green beans and cashews. Cool vibes, great beer. Clean and sleek but welcoming. Jordan our server was super helpful with recommendations.“

“2nd visit. It was a quite night, the staff informed us that was due to ”spring break”. This restaurant has a warm, fun atmosphere. We were given a “tour” of the two main floor dining rooms and learned about the history of the building and Wausau itself buy the pictures hanging on the walls. The staff was attentive. Extensive wine list, bartender gave a quick lesson of Gins (differences between London dry and botanical) to one of our guests. With spring around the corner, I enjoyed the zucchini pasta.“

“The food and service was excellent. We had the pad thai with chicken. The portions were huge. You do not leave hungry. What made it even more incredible was that someone anonymously paid for our dinner. Thank you, Whoever you are! Your generosity was over the top. The waitress informed us that the anonymous person paid for the dinners of the entire restaurant. Just mind-blowing. We will definitely pay it forward!“

“AMAZING food and atmosphere for those who love American-style Chinese food!
The dumplings were so delicious and the dipping sauce was phenomenal (and as someone who has lived in Asia, very authentic tasting).
I got the lo mein and it was PHENOMENAL! So many Chinese restaurants nowadays make it with zero flavor, but this was extremely flavorful. Another thing other Chinese restaurants do is cut the vegetables really big since it’s less work, but all the vegetables were PERFECTLY cut to make it extremely easy to eat with chopsticks and pick up with the noodles.

“We were in town for a hockey tournament last weekend. My son was looking for something to do Friday night while we were free. He found you! We went and had an amazing meal (nachos, wings, blt) and had tons of fun playing in the arcade. You have a great selection on your gluten free menu and your food prices were more than reasonable. We loved it so much, we went back Saturday with the team. All the staff, and I mean ALL, was incredibly helpful and pleasant (even in the midst of what felt like a chaotic night-very busy). So, kudos to you all. Most places you go to these days, are struggling with staffing among other things. Whatever you are doing, you should teach a master class. Keep it up. See you next time we’re in Wausau!“
