“When we come to visit WI we always got to have some Sam's pizza we haven't been back in a few years so glad it's still there ( I doubt it will ever go out which I'm so glad for.) pizza is still on point service was great we got there before the rush flow and we got mozzarella sticks and a medium pizza for the husband and I to split. It's still one of my favorite places to eat to this day. Will come back as long as they are open.“

“I think it would be good to have some blind to control the blinding sunlight that comes through the windows. It would make the atmosphere more comfortable for breakfast patrons. Menu was excellent. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was super great!“

“I love the Mint. Whenever I'm in Wasau I make sure to stop in because it is one of the last true, old school diners around. The place has history. Their breakfast used to bowl me over but this time the eggs seemed to be powdered. I could be wrong, but they just weren't the same. Came back the next day for dinner and the chicken and stuffing was just as delicious as I remembered. The place is always buzzing with the locals and it's write in the heart of downtown so you can do a little walking after your meal. Come enjoy a small slice of Americana.“

“Best place in town for real authentic tacos and other Mexican cuisine... Love love love their tacos and tamales, but what really did it for me was the Esquites! If only it wasn't made with sweet corn, then it would be really like you get in Mexico (I know that they don't have access to that, and it's ok). Other than that .. It is as authentic as you're gonna get, right down to the postre... Pastel de Tres Leches!! Riquísimo! Bravo!!? ??*Edit* Nothing has changed as far as my opinion goes. “A surprising find. Great Asian food. This is not your typical Asian buffet place. Large menu with lots to explore. Exceptionally fresh ingredients presented beautifully. We live 2 hours away so we can't make it a regular go to, but we will be back.“

“This is a classic Wisconsin Dive Bar. The atmosphere is historic with the big wooden bar and freezer doors. All cash bar, no credit is accepted. The register is an old school punch button antique. The burgers are AMAZING!!! The beef is brought in fresh every morning from Townline Meat Market. And the buns are made fresh from Krueger bakery. All locally sourced. The Bloody Mary's are also made from scratch. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Wisconsin Dive Bar experience.“

“The lady that took my order was soooo sweet :)) The food came out pretty quick and warm. I ordered the bbq chicken gyro, just the gyro not the meal and I'm glad I did because it was so packed. I barely could finish it but it was delicious. Would definitely go again. It was lunch time when I went but there was barely any other people there and it was pretty quit. They ain't have no free water tho so 4/5“

“Absolutely delicious Sea Bass with Shrimp Alfredo. This chef knows how to prepare this amazing dish. Spouse had Fish Fry, which is his favorite in the area. We love how everything is just a bit more flavorful than most restaurants. Staff is excellent“

“Great wine making shop!! With very good wines as well. They helped me set my wife up with a wine making kit for Christmas. Very helpful and informative. They even sent me a personal text when a wine they had was done being bottled. Will go again!“

“My son took one look at our Chicago style pizza we picked up and said "what is that, I'm not eating that" proceeded to eat it and say it was the best pizza he's ever had. Customer service here is spot on. Always great. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend.“

“Best cheese curds I've ever had in my life! We also had jalapeno poppers and deep fried mushrooms ! I was also there for the $2 old fashioneds on Saturday and that was very good as well. April was our bartender and she was super friendly! Just a really good all-around friendly country bar.“

“The food here is high quality and delicious! The menu is diverse with adequate choices, including great salads. Despite the fact that there was only 1 bartender that served everyone in the restaurant, too, the service was fabulous! Wish we lived closer so we can dine here more often!“

“We ate there a couple months ago and really enjoyed the buffet, everything was fabulous. We took some friends there to eat recently and it was not as impressive this time, sad to say. Even our guests said the same thing when I mentioned to them that a lot of things had so much pepper on it. The meatballs especially had so much pepper, chicken was great.Will try again though.“

“We’ve just moved to Wisconsin from Texas and decided to stay in Wausau for the night. The pictures looked good and it was close by our hotel. We were the only table in there at 9 on a Friday, but let me tell you… this was by far the best Mexican food we have had since leaving Texas in June. “This is our second visit. It's about 45 minutes from home. Nice atmosphere with casual, to upscale dining. The dining area looks out on the golf course, and the ski runs at Granite Peak in Wausau. The food was fabulous, and the value for our dollar was very good. Wait staff was very polite and fun! We will be back more often! Excellent Italian food.“

“2nd visit. It was a quite night, the staff informed us that was due to ”spring break”. This restaurant has a warm, fun atmosphere. We were given a “tour” of the two main floor dining rooms and learned about the history of the building and Wausau itself buy the pictures hanging on the walls. The staff was attentive. Extensive wine list, bartender gave a quick lesson of Gins (differences between London dry and botanical) to one of our guests. With spring around the corner, I enjoyed the zucchini pasta.“

“Great place for families! For what we have in wausau it's pretty good. It's next to the water for a pretty scenery, has a kids playground, and also briks during summer hours. There is a restaurant but from my past experience, you'll be waiting a long time to be served.“

“Soooo I ordered fish fry.. Great Dane doesn’t disappoint. A bad review here isn’t necessary because they always are top notch. Visiting from Alaska I’m super bummed beer cheese soup is no longer on the menu as it has been like a major fav of mine forever buttttt the fried plantain is definitely a great addition.
