“The Fare is American Diner. Every single item was fresh, delicious and perfectly prepared! = Coffee, hamburgers, salmon, rolls, fries, onion rings, Cole slaw, potato salad, rhubarb crumble and cheesecake!! Everything was fantastic and amazing! And the busy diner atmosphere was festive and fun!!“

“We had a great experience at Sam’s Pizza! We ordered a classic cheese pizza along with a cauliflower crust topped with sausage and Canadian bacon. The Canadian bacon was especially good, and the cauliflower crust was surprisingly delicious—great flavor and texture.
We also started with Caesar salads, which were very tasty and a perfect way to kick off the meal.
Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and enjoyable. Highly recommend stopping by Sam’s Pizza! 🍕“

“Food is fantastic but expensive. Usually send about $40-50 per person with one drink. Drinks are super cool and very tasty. Upscale food and pricing but everyone comes in their regular music/bicycle fest T-shirts and jeans. Beers are super neat and a good variation of lagers and other light beers.“

“Our first visit to Trails End last night, fish and shrimp were delicious, as were the old fashions. The waitress was outstanding and the owner very personable, stopped at our table several times. We’re definitely going back, worth the 60 mile drive. Almost forgot…prices very reasonable *****“

“I had Lanzo as a server, he was very attentive and friendly. We had a mess up with the drinks and he fixed it professionally and kindly. He definitely added to the experience and made it great! Loved the cheese curds too!“

“2nd visit. It was a quite night, the staff informed us that was due to ”spring break”. This restaurant has a warm, fun atmosphere. We were given a “tour” of the two main floor dining rooms and learned about the history of the building and Wausau itself buy the pictures hanging on the walls. The staff was attentive. Extensive wine list, bartender gave a quick lesson of Gins (differences between London dry and botanical) to one of our guests. With spring around the corner, I enjoyed the zucchini pasta.“

“We were in town for a hockey tournament last weekend. My son was looking for something to do Friday night while we were free. He found you! We went and had an amazing meal (nachos, wings, blt) and had tons of fun playing in the arcade. You have a great selection on your gluten free menu and your food prices were more than reasonable. We loved it so much, we went back Saturday with the team. All the staff, and I mean ALL, was incredibly helpful and pleasant (even in the midst of what felt like a chaotic night-very busy). So, kudos to you all. Most places you go to these days, are struggling with staffing among other things. Whatever you are doing, you should teach a master class. Keep it up. See you next time we’re in Wausau!“
