“What a wonderful evening we had! The lobster bisque was some of the best ever. The layering of flavors was exquisite! The beef Wellington was perfectly cooked. The gnocchi was so light and fluffy. The veal melted in your mouth. We finished up with a pear martini and the salted caramel dessert. A special shout out to our waitress Jen! We HIGHLY recommend Ciao!! Don’t miss out!”

“It's the first time i've been into Red apple and over ten years. It changed hands a while ago, but I moved on to the area.Stopped in there today to have breakfast with an old-time friend.I was greeted by the regulars sitting at the counter, It was adorable.They told me the menu and the specials and whom my waitress was.It was truly a special moment.It was quaint and quiet the service was good.I would highly recommend seeking out this quain little restaurant right on one of the main streets of wausau.”

“Amelia made our visit wonderful. She knew everything about the menu and answered our questions. Also checked in often. And oh yeah, the food is awesome too. Had the soup and shared a pizza. Finished dinner with "huge" piece of carrot cake. As a person who rarely does reviews and only when the restaurant really deserves it, Red Eye Brewing really knocks it out of the park.”

“My son and I had the pleasure of dining here last night and my goodness, I have never seen portions this large at any restaurant in my life. The food was excellent. Service was excellent. The atmosphere of this enchanting restaurant all decorated for Christmas was stunning. The Landmark building established in 1926, I believe, is evidenced everywhere. To my delight, the marble stairway entering the Peking Restaurant was heartwarming to see. I highly recommend this beautiful establishment. We had a customized pork fried rice due to dietary restrictions. It was perfect. Our main entrees were Shrimp and Snow Peas and a Beef with steamed rice dinner, also perfect. We had to take boxes of food home because they give you so much food.”

“MBC is our favorite restaurant in all of Wausau. My boys' favorite restaurant in their whole life time has been Red Robin, until now. They've finally gotten beaten. Sorry, Red Robin! You definitely need to step it up a few notches to compete with this place!”

“This restaurant has the best fried chicken in Wisconsin. The all you can eat wings are great. The sauces for the wings are very tasty. The salad bar is fresh and well stocked. Best restaurant we found when in Wausau”

“This is our second visit. It's about 45 minutes from home. Nice atmosphere with casual, to upscale dining. The dining area looks out on the golf course, and the ski runs at Granite Peak in Wausau. The food was fabulous, and the value for our dollar was very good. Wait staff was very polite and fun! We will be back more often! Excellent Italian food.”

“Brought a group of 6 to eat for lunch on a weekend and took a while to get a table, a couple other tables were already seated. The server never brought water to two of the people at my table which left one person with no drink at all for the majority of the meal. Seemed like there was only one server taking care of everyone. Sushi was beautifully made once brought out and was delicious so that made up for the wait times.”

“The Lobster Rissoto was delicious and very reasonably priced considering the amount of lobster chunks in it. I also ordered an old fashioned which was quite decent. The ambience of the restaurant itself was rather upscale, perhaps exceeding expectations for a smaller city like Wausau.However, it achieved a remarkable balance – elegant yet refreshingly nonchalant, a welcome departure from the often-pretentious atmosphere found in similar establishments within larger metropolitan areas.”

“My grandson works here. The food is delicious, hot, and you don't have to wait long for it to be brought out to your table.The same goes if you are ordering out. Fast service.”

“A really cool little joint in downtown Wausau. They're only open for dinner a few days a week but while open they seem to do a pretty good job. The bar tender, serving staff and host were great. We shared a few apps and pastas and will be visiting again.”
