“On a road trip, we put in an online to-go order from Becca's Cafe in Wausau, and I was pretty impressed. The menu reads like they're reaching a bit higher than a typical sandwich shop, yet the prices were totally reasonable. $40 before tip for a wrap with sweet potato fries, a panini with chips, a kids PBJ with snack pack fruit cup, a chocolate milk, an 8oz cup of soup, and a side of potato salad. It's a place I'll happily hit up again out that a ways The hot Peppercorn Steak Wrap was excellent. Would be hard pressed not to order it again instead of trying something different. The Sweet Potato Fries though managed to be burned AND soggy and limp "Herb-garlic tortilla, shredded steak, tomato, red onion, cilantro, spinach, provolone, parm-peppercorn dressing" Sonoma Chicken Panini "Grilled chicken breast, provolone, basil, mushroom, red onion, sun-dried tomato pesto, balsamic glaze" Their Loaded Potato Salad is intense. Five or six bites will do you. "Diced roasted red potatoes mixed with bacon bits, cheddar cheese, chives, sour cream" Chicken & Wild Rice Soup was the opposite. Rich and creamy, but a bit babyfood-ish: not much texture to the veg and scant chicken, and lacking in wild rice“
“Been here several times. Usually it’s fine which is why I rated 4 stars. Sometimes it’s rough in there. Tonight we were seated at a bar booth. We spend most the time being ignored by staff. While other patrons stood literally directly in front of our table with their backs to us, weird. Who does that. I had to pee for about 15 minutes before I finally tapped a lady on her shoulder and told her I needed to get up from my dining table. Never really figured out who our server was. hostess took out order then had a couple other people clear plates and bring a bill. Food was so so.“
“We had Noodles and Co. cater our wedding this past weekend and it was amazing! All of the communication was with Alex, the general manager, who provided us with a lot of options and was respectful of our budget. Our guests were all commenting on how delicious the food was! Highly recommend Alex and his team for your catering needs!“
“Went here waited with my wife and our two children eventually got seated in the bar, she was all upset because it was busy and there was a wait and wanted a booth because, that’s the way she is……we eventually got seated in the bar. Thank god because I needed a drink after all her complaining. I didn’t blame the server for not coming back. I really don’t blame her. Food was amazing and staff is awesome. Thanks for helping me out.“
“It's the first time i've been into Red apple and over ten years. It changed hands a while ago, but I moved on to the area.Stopped in there today to have breakfast with an old-time friend.I was greeted by the regulars sitting at the counter, It was adorable.They told me the menu and the specials and whom my waitress was.It was truly a special moment.It was quaint and quiet the service was good.I would highly recommend seeking out this quain little restaurant right on one of the main streets of wausau.“
