“This is a classic Wisconsin Dive Bar. The atmosphere is historic with the big wooden bar and freezer doors. All cash bar, no credit is accepted. The register is an old school punch button antique. The burgers are AMAZING!!! The beef is brought in fresh every morning from Townline Meat Market. And the buns are made fresh from Krueger bakery. All locally sourced. The Bloody Mary's are also made from scratch. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic Wisconsin Dive Bar experience.“
“We’re from Madison, Wisconsin and stopped by this cute bar after a day on the slopes. We had an amazing experience here, lots of games and entertainment, the ambiance was very fun too. Bartenders were AMAZING as well. After we left one of us happened to forget our jacket and the owner went completely out of her way to find me on FB and mail it back to us. We will be back Glass Hat!!!!“
“A classic country bar except for one thing. Simply fantastic food!! We had a double ham and grilled cheese and the special which was a delicious steak sandwich with grilled onions on a toasted hoagie. They even made a great kiddy cocktail for my grandson.“
“It's almost like two completely different bars. The outdoor patio with chairs and bag toss is nice when the weather is warm. While indoors is like a small town Wisconsin bar with bluecollar locals. Mainly a beer bar but it's very affordable.“
“They can be short staffed at times but I'm telling you the burgers are soo worth the wait, ok the fries as well. And don't get me started on the fish....OMG.all around this is a very friendly and amazing place to eat or just hangout with family or friends.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome most any days, I know mine love the ducks ?“
“''Awesome place!'' friends AND I were there a bit ago, and we had such a great time!' greAt music really nice drinks and food- we laughed alot and really liked the whole atmosphere there.' 'I really like when there's 'live music.'“
“My wife and I went there for an early dinner on a Saturday they were not busy which we we prefer. We both had the BB burger with homemade fries it was all very delicious I love that the burger also has a sausage patty it's very unique. Our waitress was friendly and on top of everything. We will definitely be visiting again. We skipped the appetizer this time but can't wait to try the cheese curds next time. Absolutely would recommend to eat here“
“Jim’s Corner bar is a hidden gem with amazing chicken wings and a delicious Mushroom Swiss burger. The service is friendly and quick, making it a perfect stop after a day of skiing or snowboarding at Granite Peak. However, it's important to note that they only accept cash, so be sure to come prepared. The atmosphere is great for watching games and chilling out, and they serve fresh, well-made food until late hours. The hot wings are a standout with their crispy texture and spicy kick, perfect for heat enthusiasts. Despite the cash-only policy, this bar is definitely worth a visit for its tasty offerings and enjoyable dining experience.“
“What a wonderful evening we had! The lobster bisque was some of the best ever. The layering of flavors was exquisite! The beef Wellington was perfectly cooked. The gnocchi was so light and fluffy. The veal melted in your mouth. We finished up with a pear martini and the salted caramel dessert. A special shout out to our waitress Jen! We HIGHLY recommend Ciao!! Don’t miss out!“
