“Sunrise is not a very big place but the food that comes out of the kitchen is delicious. We went for breakfast and it wasn't too busy. He can only cook meals for one group at a time so you may be waiting awhile for food. Pancakes are bigger than the plates and the brisket Benedict was delicious (was a special).This is a bar not a fancy restaurant so don't expect a lovely modern interior. I didn't check out the restroom, I know that can be important for people.“
“We had a graduation party here and it was a perfect patio location with a few games to play outside covered deck area for my parents who are older and don't like to sit in the Sun. They have multiple sets of bags, ping pong table which a few people played, TV for a brewer and Packer games outside and a really nice covered patio as well as a pontoon boat set up where if somebody wanted to play music they could set up there. They were very accommodating, they weren't able to do any food for us that day so they let us bring in our own food from another location and our party went amazing it was great time. We had about 40 guests outside and 5 to 10 of us on your own afterwards in the bar for a while and ordered some pizzas and had a few more drinks. It was a Sunday so it wasn't very busy, which was great for us. We also rented across the parking lot Burks Bungalow so that if you wouldn't have to drive home afterwards and that was great it had a nice fire pit out back we ended up sitting outside at the fire until about 2:30 a.m. and had a great time there too and that was very affordable. If you want the best price on the Bungalow going to the bar and ask about renting it versus doing it online. Also the patio they are very flexible with having your group come. The bartenders were great and we enjoyed ourselves thanks.“
“Best dive bar in town. Bartenders are friendly and welcoming. Drinks are cheap. They have a weekly open mic on Mondays and tons of live music. Won't hesitate to kick out a N@zi. 10/10“

“We recently had Pete Kernosky's Celebration of Life/Memorial at Aftershock! Sharon was great and did all she could to make sure that all went well. She helped with suggestions when I needed them! The bartenders that worked that day/night were attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had, help any time asked, and personalities were great! Given that this place was one of Pete's favorites to "run" to for fish fry, I am glad it went sooo well! I believe he would approve! A great place for a fish fry btw! Mary Jane“

“Crazy place. A chick on corner of bar passed out i think from drugs as she walked into the bathroom fine, her bf carried her out and placed her in a stool then leaned her on the bar . The guy that was with her arguing with the bar tender about if they can buy vodka with an EBT benefits card. I've seen movies with less drama in them. Want to feel great about yourself, come here once in awhile to rebuild your own self esteem! 😆“

“If you haven’t been to Chatterbox for a burger lately, do yourself a favor and GO! The burger was delish, and the sweet potato fries with ranch were a perfect side. Chef Drew crushed it on the grill, and Stacy kept our drinks full with a big smile. Great food, great service, and an all-around great lunch.. 🤩“
“What a lovely place! The establishment is in a lovely historic building that has been meticulously restored and decorated with an artsy vibe. The venue is spotless. Our committee chose this location for a class reunion, and we could not have been happier. The owner was super accommodating. The bar service was on point. If you visit, do try a mojito. The mint is grown on site by the owner, and what a difference it makes!“

“We visited this restaurant on the advice of my friend's co-worker and were not disappointed. The prices for the food are excellent and the serving sizes large. We had the fish and shrimp, tenderloin and shrimp, and the fried chicken. All were cooked perfectly. The side cole slaw was excellent in that it had a nice flavor and was creamy. The french fries were crispy and had a light coating. The potato salad, according to my friend, was very good. We plan to visit again to try other entrees for a comparison to tonight's meal.“

“any place that pushes for people to come in DURING A BLIZZARD where plows are even pulled off highways due to visibility and we received around 30 inches of SNOW in ONE DAY is a crap place to go. we went there once and it was not a place that was very inviting, rest assured we and other will now never go back. cars stuck in roads but het illegally ride your snowmobile in... great business practice. hope you paid for all fines and towing to sell those few pizzas and drinks“
“My favorite is Porcha that white girl can twerk and although at first I thought she was rude and abrasive even a bit odd she's grown on me, now becoming my favorite. She says she's here two years to finish school and get her life on track and then she's out, not from Wausa area and apparently moving back to the city. Catch this comedian while you can you won't regret it. Hilarious and mesmerizing I always hope to see her on my way through Wausa. Bringing flavor to this club all girls here are talented but my personal favorite is Porcha hands down. My friend could not say the same his personal favorite is the bartender in charge. Good vibes cheap drinks nude ladies you can't go wrong stopping in for one. My only complaint they should serve some food! Bar across street does but they won't deliver. Even appetizers would be great. These girls here can dance every single one was talented. Zero complaints except serve appetizers for us hungry men trying to sober up before a drive.“

“We ordered chicken from this restaurant for our wedding, and unfortunately there was an issue where the order was an hour late and the chicken breading ended up soggy. While that was disappointing on such an important day, I cannot say enough good things about how the business handled it. They were incredibly professional, kind, and took full responsibility right away. They issued a full refund and even gave us a gift card, which was completely unexpected and very appreciated. Mistakes happen, but outstanding customer service like this is rare. We truly appreciate how they handled the situation and look forward to visiting in the future. Highly recommend based on their integrity and care for their customers.“

“Traveling through Wausau, this is a stop I must always make. Abby, was incredible! I really hope she has some ownership in the bar. The drinks were good. The fish fry was the best in central Wi, and the service is indicative of a hallmark movie. If you are traveling through make sure you stop by.“
