“A classic country bar except for one thing. Simply fantastic food!! We had a double ham and grilled cheese and the special which was a delicious steak sandwich with grilled onions on a toasted hoagie. They even made a great kiddy cocktail for my grandson.“

“For the first time, my family & I visited this spot on a Friday night for music and food, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, and the rich history of the place added to the experience. Despite how busy it was, the service was remarkably attentive. The burgers & wraps were among the best in town, and the fish fry was absolutely delicious. I’m honestly disappointed I didn’t discover this establishment sooner. We will most certainly be back to visit soon. Don’t lets this one get by you, it was well worth the visit.“

“It's almost like two completely different bars. The outdoor patio with chairs and bag toss is nice when the weather is warm. While indoors is like a small town Wisconsin bar with bluecollar locals. Mainly a beer bar but it's very affordable.“

“Crazy place. A chick on corner of bar passed out i think from drugs as she walked into the bathroom fine, her bf carried her out and placed her in a stool then leaned her on the bar . The guy that was with her arguing with the bar tender about if they can buy vodka with an EBT benefits card. I've seen movies with less drama in them. Want to feel great about yourself, come here once in awhile to rebuild your own self esteem! 😆“

“We just had our 5th annual Fore-Front Mechanical Christmas Party. Larry, Sandee and staff did an outstanding job!!! Food was awesome as was the service. Only thing that could have made it better would have been a Packer victory. A big thank you to Larry and Sandee for a great time!!!!!“

I see lots of bad reviews from old employees.. boyfriends of ex employees.. ex patrons etc.. typical behavior from the ones causing the problems.. but now that the trash has taken itself out because management DOES care and won't stand for the behavior the business itself gets trashed.. only bar in the whole town worth going to! Dana is great and has been doing an amazing job the 20ish years she's been there! Highly recommend labor temple and the pizza is amazing!“

“What a lovely place!   The establishment is in a lovely historic building that has been meticulously restored and decorated with an artsy vibe.  The venue is spotless.  Our committee chose this location for a class reunion, and we could not have been happier. The owner was super accommodating.  The bar service was on point.   If you visit, do try a mojito.  The mint is grown on site by the owner, and what a difference it makes!“

“Some family and I went out for a fish fry here. The drinks are reasonably priced and have a good solid pour. My pan-fried Walleye was really good. Two of the five food orders were not correct. One was missing the extra piece of fish, and one had beer battered that was supposed to be baked. The wait staff apologized and brought out the extra fish and offered some free drinks.“

The staff gave each and everyone detailed attention although they were busy. Josi handled some unruly individuals looking to start trouble in a professional manner. Any event or party, I will recommend this establishment. Josi is one of the most entertaining person I’ve met thus far, not only is she entertaining, she’s very upfront with people.“

“I love my bartenders Lisa, winter and tylor! They always are fun and meet my needs with the drink making abilities. The bar is in a rough part of town and they make you feel important and safe. The manager Tammy is absolutely timed out of that place. She is trying to stomp out all the regulars saying they are not adding to the image she wants for the business. She is rude and very unprofessional as management. Her hiring process was met with prejudice and malice. She got rid of the best bartender who always made guests feel special and was very fast, kicked out the trash and remembered your drink order. Her motive was personal and she really brings the place down.“
